That's the key that opens the door to everything of God, is prayer. If you pray and believe, when you pray, then believe that you receive what you ask for, and God will make it known. God gave them the master key back there in the beginning when He gave them power, said, "Go demonstrate this power into all the world. I'll be with you, in you. And the very master key is the thing, is what they have left, the cornerstone. When the builders back there begin to build the building, it was cut out in all the world. That's... God's key is faith. See? That's the only thing will unlock.

"Repent, every one of you, and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to them that's far off, and as even as many as the Lord our God shall ever call." That's it. Then the key stuck in and it locked; it locked in Heaven. That's the reason Paul said to John's disciples, "You've got to be baptized over again, in the Name of Jesus Christ, to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost."

What man calls great, God calls foolish. And what man calls foolish, God calls great. So what we've got to do is get back into the program of God and find out, after all, what God wants us to do. And the only way I know to do it is prayer. Prayer is the key . That's the answer. Prayer changes things. Prayer is the most powerful weapon that was ever put in the--the control of human beings. There's no atomic bomb, or no hydrogen bomb as powerful as prayer. Prayer will change the mind of God. Did you know that? It did do it one time. Prayer. That's the secret. Prayer opens the door: prayer. "Whatsoever you ask in prayer with faith believing, you shall receive it. Ask abundantly that your joys may be full." If there wasn't a law to that, sons and daughters of God would create them a world out here and go live a private life on it. You have the power in you to do it. If you've got a shadow of the power of God in you, you got power to do it. God is omnipotent. See what I mean? The power that's in you will make... You could speak a world into existence and go live on it. Hallelujah. There you are.

That's what power is in the Church now, but it is controlled by a law. And that law is not keeping a bunch of commandments. It's a law of faith. Jesus said, "All things are possible to them that believe." And if you can believe it, whatever God will lead your soul to believe, that is yours. Every place the soles of your foot can set upon by faith, God gives it to you. Amen. It's yours; you possess it, if you can find the key to this law of faith that opens it to you. You see what I mean? That power is controlled by... If you are a son of God, you are a daughter of God, that never leaves you. It's with you all the time. But your faith gets away from It, but It's still there. Hallelujah. The power has been deposited in the box, and He's given us each a key . That's His Name. And if we're not afraid to sign it, why, He will certainly endor-He will certainly make the check good when it arrives there if it's got His Name behind it. Any key cannot unlock no door until it's used by a hand. It's got to have something to use the key . The key in itself cannot use itself. It's got to have something to yield the key . Now, there are many kinds of keys, because we have many uses of keys. There is keys to the storehouses. Now, we take like the key to knowledge. Now, a man has to, if he's trying to accumulate knowledge, see, now, there's a key to that. There's a way that this man has to open up. He has to be, to get his books and his learning, and he cannot... no one can learn him. They might teach him, but he has to learn. And the only way that it can be done, he has to catch that key , that something in there that unfolds or un-... reveals to him the knowledge that he is seeking. And mathematics, there's a key to mathematic And there's a key to knowledge, a man after knowledge. There's a key to science, the scientific researches. Now, there's, that's a great key . People look for that key . much more is there a key to salvation for a man that's in prison house of sin? There is a key to that door, to liberate men from it. A key , usually, when it turns the lock, and, when you find a key , it's got to be to some treasure, something that's worthwhile, or you wouldn't even lock it up. If it ain't worth locking up, just let it go. But when it's worth locking up! So a key usually is the--the note to something, or the way to enter to something that's worthwhile. The key , that's what it's for, now, it'll unlock something that's worthwhile. He is the Door to Heaven. And there's no other door or no other way but through Jesus Christ. He is the Door to Heaven. And now Jesus is the Door to all these things, and faith is the key that unlocks the Door. Now, if Jesus is the Door to all these promises of God, faith in His finished work unlocks every door to every treasure there is inside the Kingdom of God. See it? Key is... Faith is the key that unlocks

every promise He makes. The key of faith does that, faith in His finished work. It's these keys that we're speaking on.

Now in Hebrews, the 11th chapter, I got a great string of them wrote down here, of these heroes of faith. It was the key , to--to the Door, that stopped the mouth of lions. It was the key , faith, that unlocked the prison houses. It was faith, the key of faith, that quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, brought the dead back to life again. It was faith, the key of faith in the living God. That hand, that man, that woman, who can take that key of faith, they can unlock every promise God made. But if you haven't got that key , you're just progging, you'll never unlock it. You'll beat against it, because this key ... Any correct made key has levers on the inside of the lock, and it takes a certain form, a certain shape of them keys to turn those levers. And just one little lever out of the way, will mess the whole thing up.

Oh, those great heroes, those prophets and great men of the Bible, that had that key ! That's the reason they could stop the mouth of lions, quench the violence of fire, escape the edge of the sword, bring the dead back to life again, and do all kinds of miracles, is because they held that key and they knowed it worked, because it was a Scripture-born key . What the church needs tonight is the key to the Scriptures, the Door. Which, Christ is the Door, and He is the Word. Faith in the Word of the living God unlocks every door. God, give us the key . When you got the key , there's no fear, there's no doubt, there's no question. You don't have to ask anybody else about it, you know exactly. You've got it in your hands, you know what to do. Amen. You know what the score is, you know the door's going to unlock. You've checked the levers and you know it's strictly the right thing, the door's going to fly open when you throw the key in it. Just let them keep punching, they'll find it, for it's there. And that key is the right key , "If thou canst believe, all things are possible." If you are in Christ! He said, "If ye abide in Me, and My Words abide in you; ask what key you want, ask what gate you want to take; ask what you will, and it shall be given to you. If ye abide in Me, and My Word abides in you, you can take any enemy's gate that comes before you." You're the royal Seed of Abraham.

Notice, the Highest Heavens hastening to honor earth's most humble and

unlearned. The Highest of Heaven came down to make Hisself known to the lowest of the earth, bypassing all between to make Hisself known to common herdsmen; coming to give these common herdsmen the greatest Message of all times. There had been many great messengers. We would think of in Noah's day, and the prophets, and--and the great priests, and so forth, had been in the days gone by. The great learned man, kings, potentates, monarchs, but here He comes with the greatest of all the Messages. What was the message? "Messiah is here now!" See? And to make that known, He bypassed all the trained, to make it known to humble shepherds. Think of it: all of the clergymen, all of the churchmen, all of the teachers, all of the--the theological training, all the money had been spent, all the churches, and the doctrines, and the denominations, was all bypassed! All the learning that they had spent on all the--all the missionaries, and all the proselyting, all the membership, and everything that they had thought they had done honor to God, yet the key Message of all of it was bypassed from them. Strange! Why? See?

And notice, not only that, but the most unlikely place for such an event. The shepherds, now, was the one who received the Message. And now notice where the Message was: in the most unlikely place that anyone would expect It to come. And I wonder, tonight, if we were looking for the true Message of the Lord Jesus, I wonder if It would be in a unlikely group, a place that was... that the great, high cultured world and the church today would think was a bunch of--of, oh, heretics? I wonder if that wouldn't be where we'd find Him? The most unlikely place, and to the most unqualified speakers. Shepherds knowed nothing about speaking, only calling sheep; well, maybe that's why It come.

But there was a promised Word. Notice, it could do that again. It bypassed all the nobles of the land. It bypassed all the nobles, and was revealed to the nobodies. All the nobles that were decorated with--with great doctor's divinity and--and psychology, and--and highly educations, and great cathedrals and things, it was all bypassed and revealed to nobodies. The wisdom, the infinite wisdom of Almighty God did it, to make known to them the greatest Message ever was, "The Messiah is now on earth." What a wisdom! Could only come from God who knows wisdom! All the wisdom and all of the schooling, and everything, was now laid to waste and bypassed by the great wisdom of God. I keep repeating that because I want it to go down deep. All laid to waste, it was of no good. Bypassed it all to let God's wisdom have the right of way, that God takes the nothings to make the somethings.
