As you read this we will have begun our trip from the villages back to the Capitol of Bamako.

From there we will begin our trip home. We will be eager to tell of all the wonderful things God has done. I want to say Thank You to our church family for allowing us to go and supporting all the mission endeavors of this, His Church. Thank You for your prayers, words of encouragement, and financial support. While in Bamako we stay in a guest house paid for through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for Foreign Missions. We get to see and experience first hand where and how our gifts are being used. Our ingathering for this offering will be Sunday, Dec. 4. I urge each of you to make a gift to this special offering. It will be spent only on the Mission field and used by our missionaries. Greg Queen, former missionary to West Africa and now a consultant with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention will be our guest speaker on Sunday the 20th in both morning services. Come and support him as he brings our Foreign Mission Challenge. I look forward to seeing you on the 27th. COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING Sunday night, November 20 will give each of us at First Baptist two options for worship. The Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at the First Christian Church on S. Scott Street at 7:00 PM. Bowen Association Director of Missions, Dr. Ken Cloud will be our guest speaker here that evening. Ken is a great friend of FBC and his preaching reflects his desire to see the lost find Christ and the Christians serving the Lord with all their hearts. Youth of the Week Bryce Howell is the son of Tommie and Amy Howell and is an eighth grade student at Bainbridge Middle School. Bryce is a member of FFA and 4-H and enjoys hunting, playing tennis and golf. Casting Crowns Concert Thanks to the chaperones that went along with us to this awesome concert and to the great group of youth that represented FBC Bainbridge in a super way!
