Celebrate! A Community Arts Day will showcase a special exhibition of artwork by student artists, beginning February, 2012.
VSA Grand Rapids, the Grand Rapids Ballet Company, and the Girls Choral Academy are soliciting artwork created by students for this upcoming celebration of the arts. Artwork received by VSA by the deadline of Monday, January 23 2012 will be juried to create an exhibit of approximately 50 pieces that includes a full range of ages and abilities.
Celebrate! A Community Arts Day a fine arts celebration that is open to all! This cost-free event is an opportunity for people of all ages to experience dance, music, and visual art in a way that is all about having fun while learning about the arts. Throughout the day, there will be opportunities to participate in dance and choral workshops, engage in creative art-making activities, view performances by dance and choral groups from your community, and more!
Application Process
All visual art work and completed entry forms must be received by January 23, 2012 to be considered for the exhibit. Please complete the appropriate forms and submit them by January 23, 2012. Deliver or mail visual art work and submit applications to:

Works included in the Exhibit will be returned to artist in April 2012.
VSA reserves the right to reproduce images of artwork for organizational use and to publish names, photographs and/or stories and to photograph, publicize and otherwise use appropriately this artwork for exhibition and for educational and public awareness purposes.
