I was in prison and you visited me Matt. 25:36b
We have been out traveling, we went to wedding on the Eastern Shore, Tom ministered while we were there and he will be ministering two more Sundays this month. We have had a lot of appointments too! November calender has a lot of appointments already, busy is good! Reminds me of a minister stating that Growing old is not for sissies. Now that is truth! I talked to my chiropractor about my right hand as I have been experience pain in the palm-wrist area, espcially that week we had the rain. He explained that there are 3 phases of healing. Phase 1 is the intial healing after a trauma that swells (like surgery). Phase 2 the swelling goes away and scar tissue is formed. Scar tissue is needed at its the glue that hold everything together. Phase 3 the scar tissue can at times be so strong that it has to be remolded. And thats the phase I am in, I have to do a special exercise so the scar tissue busts up and is remolded. His explaination has really helped me understand the healing time and phases. In Phase 3 it can take up to two years for the remolding to take place which depends on the person and how much scar tissue the body makes. What my body cant do my God will do! He is the supernatural healer, Amen!

Some of the inmate have a great network of family visiting them, while others have been forgotten or disowned. In the past 11 years of prison ministry we have seen God work in so many of the inmates lives. We have watched them grow in the Lord and literally grow up in prison. We minister to many lifers in prison. In 2005 I quit my job stepping out in faith to do prison ministry fulltime with Tom. I now look back and ask How did I do it all before? Because I worked and visited several inmates plus ministered in the Chapels with Tom, along with the doing the administrative part of the ministry. It was God then and its God Now!

"We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us." 1 Thessalonians 2:8

When you understand that God works all things after the council of His will, you will understand that God uses all things for your good. Jesus looked at Judas and said, Hello friend. I think its interesting that every time a Judas arises in our lives, they think they are doing the will of God. Every time a Judas arises, they think they are going to stop us in some way. God does things so differently. He allows enemies to come against us in order to make us stronger. He allows enemies to afflict us in order to cause us to grow. He allows our enemies to push us to a higher level spiritually. Have you ever noticed that your enemy is usually disguised as a friend? They say wonderful things in front of you, but talk about you behind your back. They try to use you to get what they want, but behind your back they are talking trash. Jesus knew all along that Judas was a betrayer. Jesus knew what Judas was going to do. Jesus also knew that Judas was necessary to take Him where He needed to go. The cross of Jesus Christ didnt look very pleasant, but it was necessary before there could be a resurrection. The Lord wants us to grow to the point that we can look at trouble and trust the Lord anyway. He wants us to grow to the point that we can trust in the Lord with all of our hearts and lean not unto our own understanding. Just because trouble has come into your life that doesnt mean its over. It usually means that there is a change coming your way. Its about preparing you for something greater. Continued on page 4
Matthew 26:47-50 NKJV And while He was still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, with a great multitude with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and elders of the people. Now His betrayer had given them a sign, saying, Whomever I kiss, He is the One; seize Him. Immediately he went up to Jesus and said, Greetings, Rabbi! and kissed Him. But Jesus said to him, Friend, why have you come? Then they came and laid hands on Jesus and took Him.

Pastor Toms preaching corner continued God says that He has prepared a table for us in the presence of our enemies. Its interesting that God uses our enemies to push us where we need to go. Trouble has made you a better person. The trouble has caused you to be more caring and more loving. There are times that every believer needs a Judas. Judas will teach us that every human being will fail us at one time or another. You cant get discouraged when people talk about you behind your back. You cant get discouraged if people leave you or walk away from you. Sometimes people are with you only for a season. Our God is so bright that He will use our friends to change us. He will use trouble to correct us. He will use trouble to get us on the right path. He will use trouble to take us where He wants us to go. Its growing up in the Lord!
You are an Extended Hand and a vital part of this ministry. Together we are making a difference with Jesus Christ, taking life to a dark place! We go because you send us. Thank You so much!
Hebrews 13:5b Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you.
