GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES Please check your Bio-Data printed in the Hall Ticket i.e., Gender, Community, Creamy Layer status, PH, Local Zone, Engineering Branch etc., if you notice any discrepancy, please correct discrepancies (if any) in the Nominal Roll in examination hall, against your Hall Ticket Number, without fail. a) VH, HH, OH status of Candidate : The disabled Candidates are strictly advised to enter their type of disability along with percentage of deformity in the Nominal Roll. Otherwise, he/she will be treated as OC. b) i) Creamy Layer : BC Candidates whose parent's income is more than Rs.4 lakhs per annum, come under Creamy Layer and they should strike off "Non-Creamy Layer" in the Nominal Roll. ii) Non-Creamy Layer : BC Candidates whose parent's income is less than Rs. 4 lakhs per annum, come under non-creamy Layer and they should strike off "Creamy Layer" in the Nominal Roll. Otherwise he/she will be treated as OC. If more than one Hall Ticket is downloaded by you for this examination please attend examination with one hall ticket only to the TWO papers. If you have received the Hall Ticket without photo / blurred photo / too small photo / photo without signature, you should bring 3 Passport size photos duly attested by Gazetted Officer and hand over to the Invigilator in the examination hall, falling which you will not be admitted to the examination. You will not be admitted to the examination hall TEN minutes after the commencement. You should not leave the examination hall till the expiry of the full time. While coming to examination hall, please bring this hall ticket, smooth writing pad, ball pen (Blue/Black ink). Hall tickets issued previously for this recruitment, are not valid. You are permitted to use calculators / scientific calculators, but you are not allowed to bring programmable calculators, cell phones, pagers and other electronic gadgets to the examination hall. Please check the Answer Sheet and read the instructions on it as well as on test booklet carefully. You should write with PEN your Hall Ticket Number, Paper Code, Name, Subject, Centre at appropriate places only. You should put your signature and get the signature of the invigilator at the appropriate places in the Answer Sheet.. You will be supplied Answer Sheet which consists of two copies, the original copy and the duplicate copy below. Do not attempt to separate to displace them while answering and after completion of examination you should hand over the original OMR sheet (top sheet), to the invigilator and carry the bottom sheet (duplicate) sheet for your record.

10. you should Use BALL POINT PEN (Blue/Black) only to encode your Hall Ticket Number, Paper Code and test Booklet Series (A or B or C or D) and for bubbling answer choices at appropriate places in the Answer Sheet. Failure to encode / Wrong encoding will lead to invalidation of Answer Sheet. Use of correcting fluid is prohibited and it will lead to invalidation of answer sheet 11. You should not mark Answer Choices on the Test Booklet (Question Paper) under any circumstances. 12. You are prohibited from communicating, consulting or conversing with other candidates in the Examination hall or causing disturbances in any manner whatsoever. 13. You should compulsorily hand over the Answer Sheet to invigilator after completion of Examination; otherwise action will be initiated as per rules. 14. Penal provisions of the A.P. Public Examinations (Prevention of Malpractice & Unfair Means) Act 1997 (Act No.25/97) shall be invoked if malpractice & Unfair means are adopted by you, at any stage of recruitment / examination. (Refer to Para 6 and 7 of Notification No.19/2008 & 05/2008, and you will be barred from writing any APPSC examination in future. 15. Your admission to the Examination is provisional, subject to the confirmation/satisfaction of conditions laid down by Notification No.19/2008 & 05/2008 and also subject to satisfying the eligibility criteria and verification of required certificates at a later stage. Admission / Appearing to the Examination does not confer ipso facto any right for recruitment / selection. 16. Violation of any of the instructions may lead to invalidation of your Answer Sheet besides penal action. 17. Candidates are advised to keep ready all the required original certificates i.e., SSC, Graduation, P.G., Integrated Community Certificate, Creamy Layer certificate, Study certificates from Class IV to Class X and to produce whenever asked to do so. 19.
