Features
q Simple, robust construction q Small size q Wide range of settings q Proven design q Circuit breaker tripping capability

Figure 1: Type MCAG 32 relay withdrawn from case

Types Available
MCAG 11 Fixed current setting MCAG 12 Variable current setting in seven equal steps by means of a plug bridge MCAG 13 Continuously adjustable by a knurled knob against a calibrated scale MCAG 31,32,33 These are the respective triple pole versions

Application
The relays are designed for instantaneous phase or earth fault protection, instantaneous high set overcurrent protection. Instantaneous high set overcurrent relays are used to rapidly clear heavy short circuits which can occur near power sources, where inverse time trip and alarm contacts are paralleled with those of the inverse time overcurrent relay.

Description
The relays are attracted armature units of simple and robust construction, such that the units are highly reliable and virtually maintenance free.
