About Agricultural Development Trust,Baramati.


Established on 22nd June,71 the organization has been actively working for the socio-economic and educational empowerment of the labour class, farmers and their families in the remote area of the country. In 2006 it established the Sharda Mahila Sangh, which has been consistently working for the women s empowerment through activities like business-orientation seminars, workshops and bank related activities. Sharda Mahila Sangh has run more than 100 projects throughout the state and is planning to grow to achieve more than double of that this year. The organization is always looking for innovation and has reformed its functions and methodology as per contemporary needs.

Overview
Every Year Bhimthadi Jatra is held in Pune to advertise and sell goods produced by women. Over the last four years the fair has gained an impressive reputation and been applauded at the regional and national levels. This has enabled millions of women to be employed directly and indirectly helping them to earn a living. The following chart reflects the achievements of Bhimthadi Jatra.

Background
Bhimthadi is a province on the banks of river Bheema, which derived its name from the King Bheemak. During the Peshwa era, it was ruled by Babuji Naik Joshi for a long time. Bhimthadi was famous for deer species called Chinkara and ponies/colts known as Bhimthadiche tatte, which were associated with the heroic deeds of the Peshwas. In the ancient times the village market fair used to be held along the river bank,this tradition has led to the evolution of the present day BHIMTHADI JATRA Bhimthadi Jatra held in pune every year to advertise and sell the goods produced by women.Over the last four years it has gained impressive response and crowd. It is a platform for the large scale sale of handlooms, handicrafts,packaged food items and authentic Maharashtrian food.

Vision: To empower women socio-economically by imparting leadership skills and providing a platform for interaction with prospects, ensuring their success in business, and substantial contribution to the growth of the country. Mission: to educate and train women to start business ventures and provide them with the requisites in the endeavour. to groom them to be competent at national and international levels of business. to create a network among the women entrepreneurs. to develop an active platform for traditional and cultural progress. Aims and Objective to educate women about food processing, medicinal herbs and organic processing and organic farming to spread awareness among women about health care. to help women be self developed. to undertake study tours to provide the urban and sub urban market for the goods produced by women. Bhinthadi Jatra 2011-We are changing. Event details: *No. of stalls : 500 *Food Festival-100 stalls *Cultural Festival 5 days in the evening 6pm onwards.

Our total budget for paid and promotional media is INR 10,00,000, and with that we have been able to negotiate INR 25,00,000 in media value. Television We are having our coverage of the event on channels like star mazza and IBN to increase the footfall on the venue.

Ne spaper Sakaal Media house has partnerd with us to provide advertisements and promotions in the paper with reaches out to most of the people in pune. The promotions will start 7 days before the event and carry out throughout the duration of the event.

Signage 10 hoardings will be put up for the 15 days before and during the event in all the main spots of the city. The specifics of the hoardings will be put up on 25th Nov. On site hoarding shall be put up during the event and will be visible to 5 Lac people due to its positioning and location. On-Site Acti ities Stall will be at the disposal in the main area where a maximum of 1500 people can attend at one time. Cultural events can be sponsored adding to the value to the brand and its effect. Every evening a theme based cultural event shall be organised the likes of which have not been seen in pune. Sponsors shall have access to address or oversee the event and make use of the crowd. Stall details Stalls with flooring/matting. Separate generator facility. Separate light/power facility at every stall. All the required facilities and amenities are at the exhibition place.
