RE: Volunteers Dear Applicant, Thank you for your enquiry and interest in volunteering for The Shayler Foundation. Our volunteers help to provide a range of essential services and goods to women on an international level whose human rights have been violated, and we actively seek volunteers to help meet the increasing demand for our services. We have a number of opportunities available and are looking for a diverse range of people to fill various roles. There is no such thing as a `typical volunteer, and through volunteering you will meet many interesting people from all walks of life. Whatever your personal motivations and goals, we are confident we can help you to fulfil your aspirations for volunteering through good quality training, excellent support and the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of women whose basic human rights have been violated. The Shayler Foundation offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals living in and out of London. Volunteering can be provided locally or remotely depending on the volunteers location and the services they are interested in providing. Our Volunteer Coordinator will provide orientation, and training if needed. The enclosed information gives an outline of required skills and of the basic volunteer positions needed. Volunteer Positions Needed for The Shayler Foundation

Where: The Shayler Foundation Job Title: Volunteer Region: Varied When: Immediately Why We Want You: The Shayler Foundation is an international womens human rights organisation based in London who, with the aid of volunteers and grassroots womens organisations indigenous to the regions being served, address issues central to their communities including but not limited to reproductive and medical rights, freedom from violence, education and other fundamental human rights. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced person to coordinate a successful volunteer programme. The Shayler Foundation relies on the goodwill of volunteers, and the growth and nurturing of this department is vital to the functioning of The Shayler Foundation. Time Commitment: Timing is flexible, however a minimum of two hours per week are required. In addition, set schedules may be implemented for events and certain duties related to those events. Requirements: Enthusiasm and interest in womens human rights are essential. Must be proactive, responsible and experienced in the area in which you are volunteering. Qualifications: Eligible candidates for volunteering at The Shayler Foundation include individuals over 18 with relevant experience in areas related to volunteer task, and who pass a criminal history record check. Please note that these are volunteer positions.
