These scripts are based on UNIX bash, JavaScript and Server side Java. These scripts are written after a clear analysis of requirements to save time, bandwidth, and man hours and hence the money. Furthermore, employed Multi-Processing features to speed-up the execution and a batched approach to avoid overload on the servers. After a time and motion study, it was found that the scripts are saving USD 10000 monthly. Furthermore the process for fixing Site-to-Site Reports has been made proactive MAJOR SCRIPTS A Ping script to check connectivity through various servers A SNMP Script to check connectivity and the interface configurations A COS script to compare the COS configuration from Network and from Database and suggest a suitable workaround to the user A complete analysis script for Site to Site reports, which enabled proactive monitoring of reports Web interface with filtering / Ordering / profiling options Several JavaScripts to extract data from web (HTML) based tables spanning to multiple pages Best of such script collects data in just 5 seconds while manual method takes 30 minutes Combined all these script into a single centralized script managed at a server to keep it updated Several other just in time scripts to complete a single unit of work Continued...
