A RESOLUTION INFORMING THE STUDENT BODY OF THE ELECTION FOR THE
VACANT POSITIONS OF THE UNIVERSITY STUDENT GOVERNMENT

WHEREAS, as stated in Section 7 oI the Revised Omnibus Election Code oI 2011: '.Ior that in the
purpose oI Iilling vacancy or a newly created elective position as in the case may be not later than one
month aIter the concurrence oI the vacancy or the creation oI an elective position;

WHEREAS, as stated in Article VIII Section 3 oI the SO Constitution oI 2003 that: '.the Student
Senate shall be composed oI Senators to be elected per college. Each college shall have Iour senators;

WHEREAS, a 1

Year Batch Representative shall be elected Irom the Iollowing Colleges: College oI
Nursing, College oI Education, College oI Business and Accountancy, and College oI Arts and
Sciences;

WHEREAS, 1
st
, 3
rd
, and 5
th
Year Batch Representatives shall be elected Irom the College oI
Engineering;

WHEREAS, a Senator shall be elected Irom the College oI Business and Accountancy that shall serve
the remaining term oI oIIice oI Ms. Acerey Poblacion, a member oI the Committee on Budget and
Finance.


NOW IN VIEW OF THE FOREGOING;



BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Commission on Election to conduct the
electoral process and inIormation dissemination;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Committee on Issues and Advocacy shall take charge in helping the
Commission-in-charge Ior the inIormation dissemination;

RESOLVED FINALLY, that the Senate Secretary will be responsible to distribute copies oI this
resolution to the Iollowing oIIices: OIIice oI the Brother President, Vice President Ior Academic AIIairs,
Vice President Ior Administration, Dean oI Student AIIairs, College Deans, Student Activities
Coordinator, Executive Department, Judiciary Department, University Student Government
Constitutional Commissions, The Spectrum, and College Councils.


This Resolution shall take eIIect immediately aIter its approval.
