NATURAL FLAVOURED GREEN TEA

Product:
Green tea is a type of tea made solely with the leaves of Camellia sinensis, that has undergone minimal oxidation during processing. Green tea originates from China and has become associated with many cultures in Asia from Japan to the Middle East. The trend towards green tea has also led to a demand for flavored green tea in the West. It was the Chinese who were inspired a few thousand years ago to create rose and jasmine teas as well as traditional smoked teas. During the year of 2006 -2007 the demand of green tea in India has increased more then 20%. That makes it the second largest consumer in the market of green tea. Looking at this increasing demand and looking at the Pakistani market we thought of introducing a product in the same line.

Product description:
Now we are introducing the flavored green tea in Pakistan with the name of Natural flavored green tea. We have designed and based the entire product on

natural herbs that has derived its name. The idea mainly forms certain flavors that are suitable according to the tastes or mood of the drinker. We have six products that is flavors under the brand name of Natural tea. We are providing convenience to the customer to find all these flavours under the same packaging. In which the customer will get a whole package at the same time.

Certain special features of the product:


The product has its own ingredients. It just needs a boil of water. Made for 200 ml of drink. Easy to use, safe for everyone. Suits every mood Burns out the calories keeps you fit. Recommended by doctors.

The six product description is given as such:

Smokey black:
This flavor is for heavy drinkers therefore it has got a strong taste of the green tea. The ingredients include green tea with a little touch of sugar.

Rose delight:

A very soft and light drink for the young ladies conscience about their skin. Its a happy experience with fresh rose petals, refreshing flavor of the green tea with slight touch of sugar for your health.

Jasmine pearl:
It suits your delighting mood. A flavor with the aroma that lightens you up. Light jasmine with green tea and a medium touch sugar.

Lemon green:
It fills you with life with the sour and heavy flavor of green tea minced together with a light touch of sugar.

Ginger light:
It is the combination of two strong flavors: green tea and ginger to make you feel easy in case of indigestion.

Cardamom strong:
Its quiet strong basically used for relieving pains and relaxing ones nerves and to make one feel easy. Its minced with a medium touch of sugar.

Brand name:
Natural flavored green tea with six different flavors.

We have a product with a lot of variations. It depends upon your mood which flavor and what one is feeling as these products have no specific target market as we are focusing each and every individual.

We have introduced the product in Pakistan according to the increasing demand of green tea in this area .in the initial stage we will be launching our products I the main cities of Pakistan starting with Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

BEHAVORIAL AND PSYCHOGRAPIC SEGMENTATION:

As green tea is basically considered to be the drink of specific class of people and also certain specific occasions due to its strong and simple and refreshing taste so, we have revolutionized its taste to be suitable to every moment and matching with their mood. With this innovation it can also be used by other classes of people.

CLASSIFICATION OF PRODUCTS:

It can be divided in to certain classes due to their affordability and usage but our product comes under the definition of convenience goods that it is used in our daily life and availability at reasonable prices.

PACKAGING:

The product we are introducing that is green tea is unloose its enclosed in tea bags all same shapes and sizes; different flavors differentiated by their tags enclose in a box of 2x2 inch size box, weighing 30 gms of weight. Each packet contains 12 tea bags of the six different flavours that is two tea bags of the same flavor.

LABELING:

The tags of tea bags of different colours are designed accordingly. They are placed in a box that is green in colour with the name of the tea written on the upper mid of the front face of the box. The label of the tea is is placed on the upper left side of the box. It is painted green and the herbs are also drawn on the lid of the box. The description, usage and nutrients and trade mark are drawn on the sides.

COLOR:

The colour of the packet is green minced with little of white colour. The tea bag tags are having the brown label with also a different look according to different flavors.

PRICE:

Market entry prices: We are entering the market with market penetration prices as we already have big competitors in the tea market. The whole package is given in the market with the starting price of forty five rupees that is the 98% of the cost on the product. Discount and allowances: We are starting with 2 % of discount on each packet. Our prices are low as compared to the prices of other products in the same line and enough to cover our charges at this initial stage.

PLACEMENT:

CHANNELS OF DISTRIBUTION:

We will start its distribution from the general stores located at different areas both cities that is Islamabad and Rawalpindi .we have contracted to owners to market our product so as to tempt the customers .and to increase the knowledge of our product.

INTENSITY OF DISTRIBUTION;

We are having selective distribution of the product only that is in the main cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi and have selective few channels of distribution in order to check the response of the customers in our selected market.

PROMOTION:
For the promotion of our product we have consulted different people related to the field of mass and media and talked with the people in this field. According to their recommendation, our product should be marketed presently through billboards and advertisements in the channels. ADVDERTISEMENT:

Looking at these prices we have chosen PTV as the channel to run our advertisement. And basically our advertisement will not be more then 2 minutes as recommended that is suitable for our product.
