Welcome Message
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the 9th Biennial Convention of ASNA which will be held in Bali, Indonesia. Since the first ASNA convention in Manila, Philippines, in 1995, the ASNA convention has grown in size and content and it has been a privilege to be witness to and be part of the development of our association. In the intervening years we have met in Singapore, Chiengmai, Kuala Lumpur, Cebu, Jakarta, Cha-Am, Kuala Lumpur again and now for the second time in Indonesia in the beautiful island of Bali. This years theme of Better understanding in clinical diagnoses and updates in treatment of Neurological Diseases in ASEAN countries encapsulates the essence of ASNA and the ASNA convention which seeks to facilitate exchanges of ideas and expertise to improve neurological care in the region and benefit our patients. I am sure that participants will find the programme topical and interesting. I would like to thank the Indonesian Neurological Association for taking on the heavy task of organising the convention and I hope that all of us will contribute to make this meeting a success.
Yours sincerely,
