INTRODUCTION
THIS IS EXCITING …

You are about to enter the world of interactive discipleship. As you pick
up this book, you can be assured your life is about to change! Change
always puts us a little on edge … but we’re talking an INCREDIBLE change
as you choose a dynamic, living walk with Christ, quite the opposite of
anything boring or stoic.

Discipleship is all about this - another person involved in your life to help
sharpen your walk with Christ! It’s all about learning how to make Christ
an intensely involved dynamic of your life and having someone walk along
side of you demonstrating that themselves and backing you to do the
same.

Here’s the aspects of your time with your discipler. It’s all based on one
foundation, that the Word of God (the Bible) will become vital to you. In
order for that to happen, there will be pieces during each of your meetings
that will all fit together to create a discipleship encounter that is effective
and personal. Those pieces are as follows:

Listening
Your discipler will be checking to find out where you’re coming
from on each topic.

Learning
The Bible and what it says becomes the major focus of the topic.

Living
How will you take what you’ve learned and apply it? This section
does just that. It is the practical way to grasp or to live out, what
you’ve studied.

Leaving
In order for you to really get a hold of the topic, your discipler will
challenge you to live it out during the next week.

So, enjoy! This will be a GREAT experience for you … it’s all about to happen.

Turn the page!

You have just completed a dynamic eight-week

discipleship course!

We trust that as you have spent time studying

the very words of God ... as you have held them
in your hands and applied them to your life ...
you sense a great feeling of accomplishment!
You are growing and you are learning to live a
life energized by Biblical principles.

Our time together has concentrated on these

three truths …

To KNOW Christ,
to GROW in your walk with Him,
and to SHOW Him in your life.

You have walked a great path, so continue on

and live for Christ! Make decisions based on
the truths you have learned. Stand fast in your
relationship with Christ pursuing those things
that are excellent! Remember, as Job 12:13
says, “With Him [God] is WISDOM and
STRENGTH …” Go and live characterized by
those very qualities of wisdom and strength
that God alone can supply.

May the Lord bless you for the time you have
invested in discipleship.
