Marriage however, is a more difficult goal to achieve, as it does not involve a lineal set of tasks to be accomplished. In our culture, it is seen as something people do when the fall in love, and I dont think it can put a definite time stamp on that, as it seems to be a spontaneous event. The first and foremost goal is the goal that will serve as a bridge toward my accomplishment of my other goals on the list. PART 2:By the time Im sixty By the time Im sixty, I would like to have a successful marriage, and establish my financial independence, as well furthered my academic career. To do all these things, I will make choices carefully. I will do this by looking inwardly, and asking myself what matters to my life. With respect to the marriage goal, I will need to meet someone that I feel I can grow to love. Marriage, does not seem like something that can be planed. Of course someone can set out a list of qualities, but human desire is a fickle creature, as illumined by the phrase, be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.. Whether I will meet someone I can catchier long term compatibility with, only time can tell. But what I can do, is examine what I want carefully , and choose how a make commitments to carefully. I can be prudent to choose someone who share values, and supports my goals .In short, I can make prudent decisions about who I make commitments to to ensure success in the commitments I make. To establish my financial independence, I will save money, watch my money wisely, and investing a substantial sum of capital in various financial markets throughout my adult life. These measures, if followed prudently, will allow me to accumulate enough money to have established as nest egg that will allow me to retire comfortably. I have learned the value of all things watching the way my parents use money, as well as seeing how my grandfather has managed his money, and I seen the great benefits of using money prudently. In short, due to what I've learned from my elders, I realize the value of using money prudently, because to do so helps one prepare for tomorrow. I will also further my academic carer , by establishing tenure, and by publishing peerreviewed academic research. To do this I will continue many of the practices that I developed previously in career, namely establishing an inter-disciplinary dialog, and publishing inter disciplinary academic research.

In conclusion, I would like to be married, as well as have established my financial independence, and have furthered my academic career. To do all these things I will work hard, make choices carefully. All three of these goals require planning; a planning that requires a certain introspection. An introspection in which the question asked, what is that matters in my life, and how can I accomplish what matters.
