VIDEO CONFERENCE TESTING PROCEDURE

Now that you have installed the Video Conference Client Software, you are now ready to begin Video Conferencing!

IN VIDEO CONFERENCE TESTING, PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING: There are 16 allocated user names and passwords to be used to access the Video Conference Client Software. Such will be used when asked upon logging in.

The Video Conference Server will be opened for testing on August 22-26, 2011, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and on August 27, 2011, 8:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Philippine Time) The video conferencing user names and passwords are on a first come first serve basis. Meaning, we can only accommodate up to 16 persons per session. During the testing period, we advised you to limit your use to 30 min. - 1 hour (in any day). You have to give way to other students who would also like to test/try the Video Conferencing. Self-regulation will also be imposed to every student. Meaning, you can explore the Video Conferencing software and use the same in communicating, conversing, socializing and etc. with your classmates, other students, professors, and NEU-VEM correspondents. All sessions and conversations will be recorded by the Video Server.

Some suggested topics that you may ask: Insights regarding your assignments Lesson/Topic guides you wish to discuss Other friendly topics which would make you get to know other students Aside from the abovementioned activities, you can likewise explore the video conference software by any means. You can, while talking, simultaneously chat, transfer files, etc.

In view of the foregoing, we would need to get the schedule that fits you (in your most convenient time) to do the video conferencing. You will have to give us a particular day (at least 2) with a specific time (1 hour) in a week wherein you are most likely available. Please use Philippine Time. Example: You're available every Monday (11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) and Friday (1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
