and across the country. Through alternative
high schools established in partnership with
public school districts and its post-secondary
scholarship program, Simon Youth Foundation
(SYF) makes education a reality for students
who need a little extra help. Students like
Jimmy, a scholarship recipient.
Jimmy wrote “I knew I wanted more in life and I had dreams. I was told about the
scholarship Simon Youth Foundation offered and I figured why not give it a shot. It
turned out to be the wisest decision I have ever
made. When I got news that I was a scholarship
recipient I was overwhelmed with joy, because
from that point on I knew that I had a helping
hand.”
Since 1998, SYF’s alterative schools have
graduated 5,000 students, maintained an 90%
success rate and it has awarded more than $5.9
million in scholarships.
