Senior Equity Analyst, NCB Stockbrokers Overview NCB is one of Irelands largest independent securities firms and has

been a leading provider of institutional equities, wealth management and corporate finance to our clients for almost 30 years. In addition to these activities, NCB also operates in the investment funds/debt securities and venture capital areas. NCB are seeking an experienced equity research analyst with several years experience working in investment banking, accountancy, consultancy or industry. Responsibilities As Senior Analyst you will be required to engage in a diverse and varied range of activities. Your main duties and Responsibilities will include:-

Working as part of an expert team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of incisive analysis of companies internal performance and external trading environment in a style and approach that adds value to our discerning institutional client base Sector coverage could include food, paper and packaging, gaming and oil services and exploration Keep up to date with trends in European and Global sectors and the impact of stocks under coverage Production of regular written stock and sector reports, backed up by sound and user-friendly financial models Research tasks, including model building, primary research, proof reading Daily in-house market analysis for internal/external consumption Provide investment ideas to management, institutional clients and wealth management team Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel within companies under coverage, clients and industry

The ideal candidate will have

Recent relevant analytical experience in financial markets, industry or consulting Strong academic background ideally with one of the following: CFA, Accountancy or relevant post graduate qualification Exceptional analytical abilities as well as presentation and communication abilities Highly motivated and a capacity to be highly productive An ability to be highly adaptive to client needs and requests Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment Ability to manage and allocate your time efficiently
