Brief Job Description The primary responsibility of this position is to analyze, and identify DDSC opportunities in assigned commodities as well as help driving and following up agreed upon plans with divisions and to a lesser extent also with selected suppliers. Additional responsibilities are to analyze and identify tensioning opportunities, develop and run reports to drive important metrics such as Inventory, DPO, Supplier Reduction, PSL utilization in New Products, data integrity and to audit eSourcing implementation and contracted price reductions by part number along with helping to drive and follow up agreed actions with divisions. Additional reports may be required. Detailed Description 1. Drive commodity team initiatives in DDSC2. Analyze and run reports that will help identify inventory reduction opportunities and help driving and following up on agreed actions.3. Help implementing ROTC based decision making through increased level of logistics consideration and demand variation analysis.4. Analyze and run reports that will help identify supplier reduction opportunities and help driving and following up on agreed actions.5. Support NPD process by incorporating DDSC aspects.Collaborate with Supply Chain / Commodity Leader to help drive commodity team initiatives and metrics. Communicate/coordinate to the leaders regularly to track status of key initiatives in objective #1. Support of commodity management as assigned. Including, but not limited to: Track, verify and report commodity saving projections and results Oversight of project management & strategic direction Manage specific aspects of supplier relationships as assigned & coordinate / communicate with appropriate divisions Deliver commodity savings opportunities via key metrics: i. Inflation, Price Savings ii. Alternative Sourcing Strategy iii. DPO Improvement iv. Inventory Improvement v. Supply-chain efficiency, complexity reduction, logistical & inventory management
