The monitoring of hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, water, and welding gas pressures is extremely critical in todays robotic automation processes. Often times a single robot has several different pressures that need to be monitored and standardizing on a single sensor family for all pressures is not possible. Different sensors are then installed which have different ways of operating. This makes installation and troubleshooting in the field difficult. Balluff pressure sensors offer a full range of pressures that can be monitored, from -14.5 psi vacuum pressure to 8702 psi, no matter the medium that is required to be monitored. With medium temperatures ranging from - 40 to 125 C, and built-in functions like window mode, NO/NC switchability, and an optional analog output, display rotation, and keypad lock, there is no functionality that needs to be compromised to standardize on a single sensor.
Benefits: n Window function can monitor system high/low levels with an additional system pressure output n Analog output gives dynamic feedback of system pressure for monitoring different weights of glass n Versatile pressure sensor family allows standardization on one sensor for all robot pressures
