Web based Application Development experience in ASP.Net with SQL Server using Crystal Reports, AJAX and ADO.Net technologies. PROJECTS
VIS (Virtual Information System)
Virtual Information System (VIS) a Web Based Application, integrated with several modules/systems with each module dealing with different departments of Virtual University. It provides a main platform to Virtual University employees to manage their respective operations. Contributions in VIS correspond to Registrar, Accounts, Admin, Academics and Network Departments. Main contributions include Transfers, Overseas, NOC, Study Scheme, DSL Requests and Voucher Management Modules. Tools and Technologies: ASP.Net, AJAX, Java Script and SQL Server.

H.R System
Worked in the development of H.R System for Virtual University. The administrators can Manage Employee Records, Leaves, ACRs, Increments and Attendance. This system provides following main features Add/Search/Edit employee personal record. Manage employee job and family information. Employee Submits/Edit/Delete/View his/her leave and get it processed electronically through competent authorities. Administrators can evaluate and view ACR and Increment of the employees. The main Reports provided to the administrator are: Search Employee, View Job History, Search Family Details, Search Leaves, Search ACR/Increment and View Attendance. Tools and Technologies: ASP.Net, SQL Server, AJAX, Java Script and DevX Controls.

Admission System
Worked in the development of Admission System of Virtual University. This provides a complete online admission process. The main features of this system are Online admission application submission by the student in any discipline of Virtual University. Student can View/Edit and take Printout of his/her application. Relevant Private Virtual Campus (P.V.C) and Head Office can add/update new students registration. After fee submission the enrollment process of the student by generation of student IDs. After IDs generation process Admission Intimation mechanisms to take printouts of

admission confirmation letters and send emails. Relevant Reports to the PVCs and Head Office about searching and editing of Registered or Admitted students.

Tools and Technologies: ASP.Net, SQL Server, AJAX, Crystal Reports and Java Script.

Fee and Share Management Systems


Worked in the development of Fee & PVC Share Management System for Virtual University. This system is developed to incorporate new comprehensive rules for fee and share processing. This system uses following processes The head office allocates share rate to to each PVC. PVCs and Head Office mark the students vouchers as paid, on monthly basis. PVCs can generate Invoice of their marked students and claim their share on its basis. Students accounts are automatically blocked/unblocked depending on the paid status of their fee, on specific dates.

Relevant reports of marked/unmarked students by the PVCs are provided to Head Office as well as PVCs

VU Recruitment System
Worked in the development of VU Recruitment System. Main features of this system include New job publishing.

Online job application, with submission of C.V, photograph and other relevant files. Admin Interface Relevant reports.

Accounts Management Modules


Developed Email, LMS and Windows Accounts management modules for Virtual University. These modules provide following features Using these modules administrator can Create, Delete, Suspend, Unlock and Change Password of Windows Domain Accounts and Create, Delete, Suspend and Change Password of email accounts. Students Email/LMS password or PVCs Website/Email password can be sent through send password facility. Student is provided a facility to change LMS/Email password through forgot password facility provided in VULMS. Reports provide the List of Windows Accounts. Tools and Technologies: ASP.Net, SQL Server, AJAX, Java Script, Google API and DirectoryServices API.

Certificates Printing Systems


Developed certificates modules for Virtual University. These modules are used to take Printouts of Short Course Certificates and Certificate Letters e.g. Bonafide Certificate, Course Completion Certificate and etc. This module has following main features. Take printouts of certificates for Regular and Pass out students according to prescribed format. Maintain and view their printing history. Send Email to the relevant student. View Pass out Students List. Tools and Technologies: ASP.Net, SQL Server, AJAX, Crystal Reports and Java Script.

AssesEdu
Worked as Team Lead in design and development of AssessEdu for Academy of Educational Planning and Management (AEPAM). AssessEdu is a Reporting and Data Entry System it generates

Reports (about 2300 reports) at District level of Pakistan for the National Education Census (N.E.C) and provides Generalized Data Entry forms for Education Census of all provinces of Pakistan with centralized database management. This is an n-tier architectural application with separate business logic, database and presentation layers. Tools and Technologies: VB.Net, ADO.Net, DAL and SQL Server 2005.

Accounts System
Accounts System development for National Tariff Commission (N.T.C). Developed initially to generate reports about the Expenditure Statements and Budget Allocation. Tools and Technologies: VB.Net and SQL Server 2000.

Recruitment System
Recruitment System development for National Tariff Commission (N.T.C). Developed for the efficient data storage and retrieval, for the candidates applying jobs in National Tariff Commission. Tools and Technologies: VB.Net and SQL Server 2000.

Library Information System


Library Information System development for National Tariff Commission (N.T.C). Developed for the efficient database management of books. It provides data storage, retrieval and logging facilities for books/journals. Tools and Technologies: VB.Net and SQL Server 2000.

MultiDbManager
MultiDbManager developed in VB.Net as the Final Project of Graduation (M.C.S). It is a database manager for the management of four DBMSs namely Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL and MS Access. Its main features are Import/Export of Data from any of the databases to the other, Backup/Restore facility for all of the databases, Query by Example (QBE) facility, create/drop/edit table or databases and users/roles creation and modification. Tools and Technologies: VB.Net and SQL Server 2000.
