ENGAGEMENT AND ACHIEVEMENT CO-ORDINATOR. Fixed Term, term time 36.25 hours per week to December 31st 2012. Salary Scale: points 25 to 28; Actual Salary, 17,932 to 19,757 pa.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the co-ordination and provision of personalised engagement, motivation, school and social skills development interventions for students aged 11 to 16. The postholder will work with students in small group settings or on a 1-1 basis to engage them and provide personalised programmes and intervention strategies in order to support our students achieving their potential. The postholder will be able to demonstrate; A commitment to the highest standards for all students The ability to be self-directed and to work effectively as part of a team Excellent communication skills The ability to lead and inspire Experience of multi-agency approaches to engage young people An understanding of what constitutes successful personalised intervention strategies A genuine desire to make a difference to the educational outcomes of young people
