UNIVERSITY OF TSUKUBAS SCHOLARSHIP FOR PhD PROGRAM IN HUMAN BIOLOGY

University of Tsukuba is a Japan National University with 31 member undergraduate and graduate schools. We are also one of leading universities in Japan. Thanks to the wide dissemination of research outcomes, we have achieved a reputation as a base for international research and education. We are delighted to inform you that our application for PhD Program in Human Biology to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT), was accepted. The aim of this program is to utilize cooperative education by faculty of domestic and foreign universities and researchers in private companies to cultivate global leaders who can actively contribute to various areas after their graduation. The PhD Program in Human Biology is offered completely in English. Duration of the program is 5 consecutive years. Students who are accepted to the program will receive scholarship directly from the University of Tsukuba, with following benefits: Financial support: JPY 2,160,000~2,880,000 JPY /year, including school expenses Support for overseas activities: JPY 1,000,000 average Overseas lab rotation, Overseas internship and research, Appropriate technology education Preferential availability of dormitories (Personal expense: JPY 30,000/month) Risk, mental health and career support
