We extract our Rubber Lining from Natural & Various Synthetic Rubbers to cater to diverse industries with the main motive of serving the Indian industry with Quality products to increase the efficiency at the work place at cost effective price with our vast experience and knowledge in the field of Rubber Lining. What is Rubber Lining? In a simple way, Rubber lining is a process like painting.Instead of Paint we use rubber. It is used to protect metal surfacs from corrosion /corrosive fluid. Like in piping handling Sea Water whose base piipe is plain carbon steel and the inside is quoted with Rubber to avoid contact of water with Steel.

Rubber Linings are used in a variety of applications like the chemical, mining, fertilizer, electrochemical, steel, transportation and environment sectors.Using the most advanced technology, the linings are produced in different thicknesses to be used in a variety of industrial situations Various uses of Rubber linings are as follows: Rubber Linings extend equipment life Rubber Linings provide solutions for the: Toughest abrasion and corrosion applications. Extreme chemical environments. Severe wear situations. Resistance to acids Impact Protection Noise Reduction Water Treatment and Effluent Treatment Types Of Rubber Linings Soft natural rubber: This has a good resistance to most inorganic chemicals, leaving aside the strong oxidizing agents. Rubber linings exhibit outstanding abrasion resistance and they expand and contract with the thermal variations of the metal substrate. Semi-hard and hard natural rubber: Linings made of semi-hard and hard natural rubber have better chemical and heat resistance than soft natural rubber. These linings have wide application in organic and inorganic acids and chlorine gas. Specific grades have excellent permeation resistance and such rubber linings have heat resistance to 200F. Neoprene: This is a synthetic rubber with physical properties which is similar to natural rubber. These linings made of neoprene is superior to natural rubber in resistance to heat, ozone, sunlight, weather, flame and oil. Butyl: Butyl linings have good resistance to acids and caustic solutions up to 200F. They have exceptional resistance to gaseous diffusion.

Rubber Lining Process

The entire process of Rubber Lining preparation involves the following five steps: Base surface preparation Rubber sheets preparation Rubber sheets application on the metal surface Vulcanization process Testing & Inspection process Rubber Lining-Surface Preparation This is very important process for rubber lining. It is to be noted the first thing that is required to prepare the metal surface is that it should be free from paint, oil, rust, dust etc. This is done using sand blasting or shot blasting. When the surface is cleaned, bonding agent or adhesive solvents are applied to surface.,as adhesion is an important process for Rubber lining. Rubber Lining-Rubber Sheets Preparation The synthetic rubber compound that is produced is as per the chemical and other conditions of the process. The sheets of rubber are made on calendar machine. The thickness varies. For more thickness, 2 or more layers are applied. Usually for pipe fittings, extruded rubber tubes are inserted in the pipes. Rubber Lining-Application of Rubber Sheets The rubber sheets that are produced are applied on to the adhesive coated, half dried surface. This is done using slight pressure of hand or a metallic roll. Sometimes various lining tools are also used. While doing so, care must be taken not to trap air between the metal surface and rubber sheet. All joints are leveled and joined with help of knurling tools. Rubber Lining-Vulcanization . In the process of vulcanization, rubber changes from plastic to elastic. The pressure and temperature depend upon the rubber compound and thickness of rubber lining. For equipments which are of large size, where rubber lining is done on site, vulcanization is done by open steam and also hot water curing. A specified temperature is maintained cure the rubber. Vulcanize by using roller stitutal & boiler steam up to 8 hrs. So, rubber becomes hard. Rubber Lining-Testing and Inspection Rubber lining products are sent for testing. This testing is done before and after vulcanization so that they are free from faults. Any fault can cause failure of the equipment. In complete daylight, visual inspection is done to check mechanical damages blisters and poor joints. Also a spark test with a high voltage is carried out. This is done to check mechanical damages, blisters, holes, poor joints etc. For rubber lining, hardness test is an essential requirement. Knocking test is another test which is undertaken so as to test poor bonding.

PRODUCT LINE FOR RUBBER LINING Corrosion / Abrasion Resistant Rubber lining Jemond Rubber offer an efficient array of Corrosion / Abrasion Resistant Rubber linings that are widely accepted among our clients. They are manufactured from supreme quality

material in accordance with the industry set standards. Jemond Rubber ensure about their long service life and reliability as they are fabricated using advanced technologies.Rubber lining Provided by us in diverse shapes and sizes to suit the specific requirements of our clients. Ebonite Rubber Lined Tank Rubber lined tanks are used in the manufacturing industry as a more durable alternative to a typical metal tank. Corrosive chemicals, abrasion, constant contact with moisture, and high velocity can damage a metal tank and cause it to rust or corrode, causing dangerous leaks and costly repairs. Rubber lined tanks that are in good repair will prevent these problems by protecting the metal from direct contact with the substance that is being stored, heated, or mixed inside a tank. Differences between rubber lined tanks is the type of lining. Some rubber lined tanks have a drop in liner. Other types of tanks have a rubber liner that is fused lining. Both of these types of liners can be effectively used at times in the manufacturing industry. Fused linings are permanent and generally more stable. They are preferred for many applications. Drop in liners are convenient for quick fixes or for instances where a repair to liner would be too time intensive. They do have one drawback, however. Drop in rubber liners can get holes or tears in them and the fluid will then leak between the drop in liner and the metal wall of the tank itself. This is a danger that can be easily overlooked, if the drop in liners are not inspected or changed regularly to prevent leaks. If the contents of the tank leak between the wall of the tank and the liner itself, the entire tank can quickly corrode and rust. So, the important thing to keep in mind with drop in liners is constant vigilance. These tanks have a lining of a special grade of soft plasticized PVC. The flexibility of the coating makes it to adjust differences in thermal expansion between the plastic and the steel, moreover if any stresses are produced then that can also be absorbed. The coating which is firmly bonded to the steel can be used at temperatures up to 70 degree. Rubber Lined Acid Pickling Tank Rubber linining for Acid Pickling Tanks are made out of extremely corrosion resistant and abrasion resistant. Jemond Rubber design rubber for Acid Pickling tank according to the size and weight of load such as pipes, tubes, coil wires, bars, structural steel. suitable for different acidic condition like degreasing, electro plating, rinsing, fluxing, anodizing, prepost-treatment and metal surface treatment for heavy steel plant and tube industries.

Jemond Rubber supply rubber pulley lagging service including diamond groove lagging, plain pulley lagging. We extract our Pulley Lagging service from Natural & Various Synthetic Rubbers to cater to diverse industries with the main motive of serving the Indian industry with Quality products to increase the efficiency. What is Pulley Lagging? Lagging is the term used to describe the application of a coating, cover or wearing surface which is sometimes applied to pulley shells.Lagging is often applied in order to extend the life of the shell by providing a replaceable wearing surface or to improve the friction between the belt and the pulley. Notably drive pulleys are often rubber lagged for exactly this reason.

Types of Pulley lagging Rubber lagging is applied to pulley shells in order to improve the friction between the pulley and the belt. Conveyor drive pulleys are often supplied with diamond grooved lagging and plain lagging 'Diamond grooved lagging' refers to the pattern in the lagging and this pattern, like with vehicle tyres, enhances the grip or friction even if the belt surface is dirty. A number of variations to diamond-grooved lagging are available including for example, chevron-lagging..

'Plain' lagging can also be applied to pulley .The application procedure is much the same as with diamond grooved lagging however, the pattern is absent.Plain lagging is applied to pulleys which are not drive pulleys for example tail pulleys, take-up pulleys, etc. but which require good interaction between belt and pulley for improved belt tracking capability.

'Chevrone grooved lagging' is type of pulley lagging which used in many applications.

Jemond rubber provide Chevron Groove or harring groove pulley lagging at affordable price.

Jemond Rubbers Harring bone grooves type pulley lagging is also provided by us.

Rubber lagging material is manufactured in standard widths in either 'plain' or 'diamond grooved' pattern and is vulcanized to the pulley shell to prevent the lagging from peeling off of the shell. Pulley Lagging Specifications a) Lagging Type and Finish The type of lagging to be used is specified on the basis of the application, duty and required life of the lagging as outlined above. In general, the type of lagging used on troughed belt conveyors is indicated in the table below
