Welcome: Congratulations San Diego ASY Family Ambassordors. You are going to embark on an amazing family trip to watch the Armed Forces Bowl in Dallas, TX. Thanks to Bell Helicopter, your family will be provided a FREE round trip flight, FREE luxury hotel accomdations, and FREE tickets to the Armed Foces Bowl. This information packet contains all necessary information for your trip. Please read the following point below for your reference.
Currently, there are no additional tickets available to the game. National ASY is working to see if more could be available on the day of the bowl. Please write three family thank you notes to Bell Helicopter, American Airlines, and the Armed Services YMCA. Please thank them for supporting the Armed Services YMCA, and submit them to Lyndsay Neer. Families will board buses (mandatory) from the hotel to Ford Stadium. Kickoff is at 11am, see shuttle schedule in transportation section for departure time. Any food and beverage cost will be the responsibility of the family. Armed Services YMCAs military families from Lawton, Ft. Hood and Killeen will also be in attendance. Please post on our Facebook and National ASYMCA Facebook during and after the trip. Please create signs, homemade shirts, etc, that show your support of the Armed Services YMCA. There will be a prize for best family flair. Please dress and pack warmly for the weather in Dallas. ( It is currently 38-50 Degrees)

Timeline: Thursday, 12/ 29 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Families depart San Diego on multiple flights into Dallas. 11:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m. Families arrive in Dallas, TX 12:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. Shuttle runs from DFW Airport to Hotel Adolphus (See Transportation page for shuttle times and location.) 7:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. ASY information welcome meeting in the Pat Morris Neff Room on the Mezzanine Level of Hotel Adolphus. Friday, 12/30 9:00 a.m. 9:30 a.m. Shuttle Leaves from Adolphus to Dallas-Fort Worth Ford Stadium 11:00 a.m. Armed Forces Bowl Kick Off 3:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. Adventure area open to ticket holders Saturday, 12/31 Various times ASY Family Ambassadors will be departing Dallas. The one baggage fee will be waived per passenger. Please try to check the least amount of bags in order to alleviate added travel time. If you choose to check a bag your family will need to check in with a ticket agent (not use the kiosk). Transportation:

Families are responsible for transportation to the San Diego Airport Shuttles will depart DFW USO Terminal B, Gate 5 to Hotel Adolphus @ o 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m.
If you do not want to wait for a shuttle, you can take a taxi; at your own cost (approx 20 miles).If you choose to take a Taxi please contact Lyndsay Neer to confirm the shuttle is not needed.

Friday, 12/30 - Families will need to be ready and in the Adolphus Hotel Lobby at 9:00 a.m. for departure to the Dallas-Fort Worth Ford Stadium. - Families will receive bowl tickets once they are on the bus. - Buses will return after the game and after the concert. Times will be given out at the welcome session. Saturday, 12/31 - Shuttles will depart Hotel Adolphus to DFW Airport @ o 7:00 a.m., 10:45 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m. - Families are responsible for transportation upon arrival to San Diego Airport.
