Blood Pressure Sensor:

The Blood Pressure Sensor is a non-invasive sensor designed to measure human blood pressure. It measures systolic, diastolic and mean arterial pressure utilizing the oscillometric technique. Pulse rate is also reported. EKG Sensor

The EKG Sensor measures electrical signals produced during muscle contractions, and can be used to make standard 3-lead EKG tracings or surface EMG recordings. Description: The EKG Sensor measures cardiac electrical potential waveforms (voltages produced during the contraction of the heart). It can be used to make standard 3-lead EKG tracings to record electrical activity in the heart, or to collect surface EMG recordings to study contractions in muscles in your arm, leg or jaw. Instrumentation Amplifier

The Instrumentation Amplifier can be used to connect a wide variety of measurement equipment to a Vernier interface and electronically collect, store, and analyze the data. Description The Instrumentation Amplifier monitors voltages from 20 mV to 1 V (DC or AC). It has several switch settings to allow you to select the best gain and includes auto-ID functionality for each of the six ranges. Input bandwidth of 10 kHz allows the capture of higher frequency signals. It is typically used to amplify the chart recorder or analog output of any instrument, such as a third-party gas chromatograph. O2 Gas Sensor

The O2 Gas Sensor can be used to monitor gaseous oxygen levels in a variety of biology and chemistry experiments. The sensor is intended for measuring gaseous, not aqueous, O2 concentration. Description The O2 Gas Sensor measures oxygen concentration in air, and is temperature compensated for use in different environments. It has a wide measurement range, allowing it to be used to study human and cellular respiration. The O2 Gas Sensor also includes a 250 mL bottle that can be used to study the rusting of iron or as a respiration chamber for monitoring plants and insects. Surface Temperature Sensor

The Surface Temperature Sensor is designed for use in situations in which low thermal mass or flexibility is required, or for a skin temperature measurement.

Description

The Surface Temperature Sensor has an exposed thermistor that results in an extremely rapid response time. This design allows for use in air and water. For temperature measurements in harsher environments that require a more durable probe, we recommend our Stainless Steel Temperature Probe. Respiration Monitor Belt

The Respiration Monitor Belt is used to measure human respiration rates. Description: The Respiration Monitor Belt is used with the Gas Pressure Sensor to measure human respiration. Simply strap the belt around the chest and pump air into the belt with the hand bulb, and monitor the pressure associated with the expansion and contraction of the chest during breathing.
