REPEAT INTERESTING EFFECT

We known, baby is more interested in the world. They manipulated objects and explore with their mouth. Infants learn to inatiate, regonize and repeat pleasure experiences from

environment. Infant also interest to manipulated objects on the environment. Memory traces are presents . They notice that they can actually influence events in their world . for example, they can drop a teddy which bashes a ball on the floor. Although this occurs, the infant will not make conscious connection between what they do and the consequences, they nerely observe that their actions have interesting effects. Between 4 untill 8 months of age,infant are discovery (agains by chance) that they can make interesting things happen to object beyond their own bodies. These is a scheme called secondry circular reactions and also repeated for the plessure bring. According to the Piaget, infant from 4 untill 8 months olds sudden interest in external objects indicates that they have begun to differentiate themselves from object they can control in the surrounding environment. During this substage, the child becomes more focused on the world and begins to intentionally repeat an action in order to trigger a response in the environment. For example, a child will be purposefully pick up a toy in order to put on his or her mouth. Many skills are coming together at this level. Your baby is rolling over to explore and get to objects, and he or she can sit independently for brief periods of time. Objects are passed between hands. Your baby reaches for objects with both hands and enjoys banging two objects together. He or she is recognizing familiar people and likes attention.

The figure show the infant try to play that toys for many time.. It is because the toys make some sound and movement. The infant will interest the things that make the sound and movement. Based on the figure above.the toys make some movement,that is rotation.

RESULT

On the 8th of March, Jenny Wong Eng Yee and I, Siti Salwa, went to one of the UM 12th colleges staff s house to carry out the object permanence experiment. This lovely couple had been given their first son by God 8 months ago. Muhammad Yusof Ameen bin Khairul Faiez is the little princes name. We call him Ameen. He is 8 months old this month. We choose to carry out this repeat interesting effect task because we would like to determine whether this 8 months old baby belong to the 3rd or the 4th stage of effect of something. At the age 4 untill 8 months, the infant would like to repeat the same action that make a effect. For example, sounds and movement. Basically, when a baby hold the toy and the toys make a sound, so the baby like to hold it again. According to his mother, Ameen loves to flip books and likes to play with papers. Ameen also like to play with his dad. He lought when his dad try to play with him. For do this task, firstly we give one toys that make a sound. Jenny hold the baby and I play some toys in front of the baby. The baby interest to do the same action when it make a interesting sound. After that, while Ameen play the toys, I try to give the another toys to him but he refuse to play the another one. It is because the new toys that I give not give the sound and movement. So, it cant attract the baby. He just play the toys until he tired. According to piaget, baby between 4 untill 8 months of age,infant are discovery (agains by chance) that they can make interesting things happen to object beyond their own bodies.
