SHOW SUMMARY
The premise of the show is based on an unlikely alliance between forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan and FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth. Brennan is the central character and team leader of the fictional Jeffersonian Institute Forensic Sciences Department. The show revolves around solving Federal legal cases by examining the human remains of possible murder victims. Dr. Brennan and her team provide scientific expertise and Special Agent Booth provides FBI criminal investigation technique. In addition to the prospective murder cases featured in each episode the series explores the backgrounds and relationships of its recurrent characters. An important ongoing dynamic between Brennan and Booth is their disagreement about science and faith. Brennan argues for science, evidence, atheism. Booth argues for faith, God, and the unproven. The series is also known for its dark comedic undertones to, in essence, lighten the gravity of the show's intense subject matter.

EPISODE RECAP

The episode started with a talk between the police man and Bones as he was asking her about her vacation in Darfur and she said that she chilled there and talked to her brother about her moms death and her dads disappearance. Moreover, the police man asked her to trust him when he was driving the car in a high speed because she has a trust issue. Bones is a lonely girl with no parents and she lost even her only brother for 15 years so now she loves talking about him after she met him again I like the sound of it, my brother. They reached to the place where the train crashed and the place was a mess. There were a lot of injured people and even deaths. Here Booth met Kim while she was getting some evidences. Booth then introduced Bones to Kim. After that, Kim ordered Bones to go and check for the evidences which caused the accident but Bones stayed in her place and did not move, since she thought that Mr. Goodman is her boss and not Kim. Kim replied You got half of this right. Bones: One minute she is holding an arm, the next she is hitting on you. This shows that Bones did not like her at all. Booth: No, she is not hitting on me and she is your boss Bones. Bones said that no, she is not and that she has another boss. She asked the fireman if he can give her the space to check for evidences and the guy allowed her and knew her name and asked her if she could guess his name but she was like Well there are thousands of you in DC but just one of me. They went back to the lab, and everyone started getting suspicious about the relation between Kim and Booth. Then Booth arrived and the team started giving the first evidences about the guy who was in the car and got crushed by the train. Firstly, they figured out that he is tall and that he is a basketball player. Every bone was broken and there was evidence that it was both Warrell Lynch and the Senator who were both killed in one accident. After that, they recognized that the man was dead before several hours of the accident. These evidences were given by both guys in the lab and Bones was analyzing and reporting them back to Kim. Kim met with them and started giving them directions that there is no need for any press to get involved in the case and that everything has to be confidential. In addition to that, no information should be given unless they are sure about them. Bones said that it is unrealistic to believe that he committed suicide but Kim was against her and said that it is the truth until now and we cant make any assumptions so far. Kim: everything goes through me which shows the power she has and it is also shown when she says that 10 am tomorrow is our meeting and Zac get the donuts. Bones was talking to Hodgins and he was telling her that she should be the manager and Kim was listening to them. She told them about her qualifications and Bones was impressed about them. After that, Bones left the place and Kim was alone with Hodgins so he wanted to fix what he said about Kim. Then all of the team with the government representative met and Bones said that the guys identity was Warrell Lynch. The first thoughts were that Warrell Lynch committed suicide in front of a train. But then Bones told them that Lynch was dead 6 hours before the accident and the representatives asked about when they can announce to the public Lynchs death. After that, they were suspicious that there was a motive of murder and that was related to the shares of Lynch. Then Lynchs ex-wife came and they gave Bones and Booth some of Lynchs belongings. There was something written on the watch and Booth was wondering what does it mean so Bones knew the meaning of that sentences and Booth was surprised how does she know that much about everything. Hodgins went to Bones and told her that he found some glass with Lynch and this shows how that they

refer to Bones in every single issue. Booth was helping Bones in getting information about the private investigator. Then Bones went to Zac and checked where he was in the investigation. Angela asked Bones: You did not even want the job. Bones: I did not even know what the job was, and then Angela told Bones that she is very task-oriented and asked her: when is my birthday, and Bones replied: I can let the computer remind me when is your birthday. Then they did more of the analysis on the bones and they figured out that Lynch was a heroin addict. Then both Booth and Bones met with the private investigator or agent and they started questioning him and that Lynchs wife told them about that investigator. Moreover, the agent refused to talk about anything and showed that this confidentiality has to be protected even when his clients are dead. Then they told him that Lynch was a drug addict and that Turco was involved in this. Booth scared him that he is going to publish this in the media and Bones presented the facts to him. Turco told them that Lynch brought him to deal with a blackmailer and a stalker and he told them that he paid the guy and that was the money for the heroin. Kim came and told them that she found new evidences of the drug and Bones asked her if she told Booth but Kim said that she will leave that to her. Bones smiled and showed her that she was impressed with the way Kim talked to them. Zac told Bones that he thought that she did quite well but Bones does not like praising Kim so she just skipped the subject. Hence Bones along with the 2 guys in the lab started testing the bones and the way the accident happened using the evidences they got from the accident. Kim came and asked them to stop what they were doing, so the guy looked at Bones to check if he should do that and Bones asked him to turn the machine off. Kim said: Why wasnt I told about this? Bones answered: I encourage individual efforts and Kim refused that excuse and asked them to take the permission from her before doing anything or she would take New Yorks actions. Bones replied: These guys work for me but Kim said that she loves this meeting of the minds but if they insist on an organizational pyramid she will be on the top. Booth started defending Kims view in front of Bones and that she believes that too much truth is the same as too little that is why she got the job. Then Booth was informed that the guy who killed her mom was also killed and he informed Bones about it. Bones got really upset because he was the only connection to her father. Then they started examining the virtual image which Zac did and which matched the skull of the dead guy and it did not turn out to be Lynch, then Kim asked how accurate was this picture and bones said that this does not depend on the machine but on Angela and she is the best. Then Angela went with Kim to the governments representative to inform her that the man was not Lynch. Therefore, the agent was really angry because of this whole mistake. Angela thanked Kim for her support. Kim replied if you did a mistake I will throw you into the wall. Then Booth and Bones went to catch the drug dealer, so they waited in the car and Booth was advising her to visit her moms grave and that she should do that some time soon. She was making fun of Booth when he talks to the stones. They then caught the guy and he confessed that he sold this to Ray three days ago. Then they found Lynch who was thrown from a speeding car and was in a coma. Both Booth and Bones went to check on him in the hospital. Lynch has a severe brain damage and he is not going to wake up. Angela says: After Zac nagged me a thousand times to know how the elbow was dislocated, I created the most realistic sequence. The victim was dead when they dislocated his elbow and he could not feel it. Therefore, Angela and Zac concluded that this has happened by two people who were in a big hurry and had a train to attend. Then Angela showed Booth the plate numbers of

the cars which were on the road and pictures of the people who were next to the victims car and it was Turco, Lynchs professional investigator. Kim is very strong and she showed Booth that he was not the purpose of her getting the job and that she just took it because of the better conditions. Booth told Kim you intimidate other people but Bones does not, be closer to your team and think about your human source. Then Bones was checking Lynchs personal things and she found a belt which has a dolphin on it. So bones went to Booth and told him that Lynch was involved in the case and that they took all the jewelleries from him except for the championship ring. Booth then met with Turco and faced him with the fact that Lynch and Turco were planning to do something with the stalker and that he threw Lynch from the car after that. Booth could not let him confess about anything so Bones called him and told him that they should scare him by telling him about the way he broke his arm and that he was with Lynch when they broke the stalkers arm. Bones told him that Lynch told them that it was difficult to put the guys hands into the jacket and you had a train to meet and you were in a hurry and you broke his arms. Finally the governments representative met with the team and told them that Turco will admit that he helped Lynch in placing a dead body and that was all because they wanted to play with the market. Turco says that everything else including where the car was placed shows that Lynch did by himself. The team refused these things as he killed 3 people and put one in a coma and that the maximum punishment he would get will be 10 years. Then the representative told them that they did not do their jobs well and that is why she would not be able to get a better punishment. But Kim here rejected what she said and told her that her team did their job and you should do your jobs and that they gave them a lot of evidences. And then Kim defended the team and the way they worked. Here Bones knew why Kim got the job. Bones went with Booth to her moms grave and he asked her to do what people do and get her mom flowers. Then Bones got emotional when she was talking to her mom since she does not know anything about her dads intentions. After that, she found a dolphin next to the grave and that showed that her dad was here.
