Day 1 Monday, 2 January 2012 The year 2011 has ended and we are starting a new chapter in 2012.

When we look at the year that has just passed, we will find that there have been good times and bad times that we all experienced. John 1:16 says, From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another. God can turn even the worst experiences of ours into something positive. When we fill our hearts with thanksgiving, even the seemingly insignificant things in our lives can be changed into something valuable. Let s reflect on the year 2011 that just went by and begin to count the blessings we have received one by one while declaring them aloud ; and we will realize how good our God is. A new season has come, so, let s look forward to 2012 with anticipation and appreciation because the best is yet to come! Bible Verses: - Psalm 8 - Psalm 103 Prayer Points: - Give thanks to the Lord for our family, friends, and people who have been placed in our path - Pray that God will give us a heart that is filled with thanksgiving - Give thanks to God for His protection upon our nation Day 2 Tuesday, 3 January 2012 Some call it a dream, some call it a desire, and some call it a vision Whatever the term, this is what provides us with a direction into our future. This is what keeps us going in difficult times. Joseph, Moses, David, and many others understand what it means to protect the God-given visions in their lives, even when times are difficult. Just like a ship needing a compass to keep it in course, we also need a Godgiven vision to bring us to success. Let us take time to seek God and understand His will for our lives in the family, work, ministry, and also our personal lives. And when we have understood His will, let s be faithful in walking through it. Bible Verses: - Psalm 119:33-40 Prayer Points: - Pray for clear direction and guidance in our lives for our family, work, and ministry - Pray that God will give us a sensitive heart to follow His will Day 3 Wednesday, 4 January 2012 The famous Prayer of Jabez to the God of Israel went like this: Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain. And God granted his request (1 Chronicles 4:10). Jabez understood that blessings come from the Lord, and to achieve success, he needs God s hands upon him and his business. God turned his life around when he cried out to God. He refused to live in the fate determined by his mother when she named him Jabez (which means pain). So, ask God today to enlarge your business and scope of influence. And with the

same conviction as Jabez in the God of Israel, believe that God will expand and bring our business to the next level if we are willing to work hard at it. Bible Verses: - Isaiah 60 Prayer Points: - Pray that God will expand our business and bring it to the next level - Pray that God will give us the resources we need to expand our business Day 4 Thursday, 5 January 2012 In God s Word we find a set of commands from a father to his son about wisdom and life (Proverbs 1-9), the exemplary life of a wise woman (Proverbs 31), a guide about husband-wife relationships (Ephesians 5:22-32, 1 Peter 3:1-7) & about parent-child relationships (Ephesians 6:1-4), rules about how to lead a Christian home (Colossians 3:18-25), and so on. If we carefully obey God s Word and practice it in our family with Jesus as the foundation (1 Corinthians 3:11), then we will have a strong & solid family. Unfortunately, many Christian families, who actually know what they must do to strengthen themselves, don t practice what they know. For example, many don t have family altars while others give very little Bible-based teachings to their children. What is our vision this year for our family? What level of spirituality do you want for your husband, wife, and children? Let s take time to pray for our family. Bible Verses: - Proverbs 24:3-4 - John 15:1-17 Prayer Points: - Pray for Christian families to be planted in Christ and His Word - Pray for families that are experiencing some struggles Day 5 Friday, 6 January 2012 At the beginning of each year, some of us will look back at our goals for the previous year and write new goals for the coming new year. Don t be discouraged when we find that there are goals we did not achieve. Instead, take some time to think about why we had not successfully achieved those goals. Some personal goals which we must focus on include: spiritual growth, perhaps through reading the Bible throughout one whole year, memorizing Bible verses, or getting involved in ministry; physical growth, perhaps through better exercise and healthy eating; and also mental growth, perhaps through challenging ourselves to read more useful books this year. Bible Verses: - 1 Timothy 4:7-8 Prayer Points: - Pray for increase in our personal goals - Pray for diligence and faithfulness in chasing after those goals

Day 6 Saturday, 7 January 2012 For three years Paul served in Ephesus with all his heart and many tears. The confrontation from the Jews did not stop him from spreading the Gospel, both publicly and privately. How was he able to continue to keep the fire burning in his ministry? It is because he knows exactly what he needed to do (Acts 20:24) and he was led by the Holy Spirit (Acts 20:22). God has given us the responsibility to protect and care for the people around us. We will see that responsibility as a burden if we try to do it with our own strength; but if we do it wholeheartedly and with the power of the Holy Spirit, then we can serve God without getting weary and with fire that continually burns in our heart. Bible Verses: - 1 Corinthians 15:58 - Acts 20:17-35 Prayer Points: - Pray for IFGF GISI ministers to be able to continue serving God with the burning fire of the Holy Spirit - Pray for clear directions for our Pastors and God s ministers so that they can lead God s churches in all of IFGF GISI according to God s will Day 7 Sunday, 8 January 2012 In carrying out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, IFGF GISI has planted more than 3000 churches around the world and discipled many nations. The vision People is Our Mission has continued to challenge the IFGF GISI churches around the world till now. Many young people have participated in mission trips to remote places in many parts of the world to positively influence the local people. They have seen miracles and the powerful works of the Holy Spirit while witnessing thousands enter the Kingdom of God. This is why we need a solid discipleship program which will, at the same time, encourage the mature believers to continue to grow. Let us pray that God will give visions that can be grasped by IFGF GISI church members around the world. Bible Verses: - Matthew 13 Prayer Points: - Pray for IFGF GISI churches worldwide to be an influence to the nations and to experience increase this year - Pray that there will be many more workers of the Kingdom that are raised up and sent out for mission works Day 8 Monday, 9 January 2012 When we see the scope of God s love for us, that Christ Himself has lowered Himself to such a level and came to save us from our sins, we will realize how undeserving we are. Paul shared about Christ s humility to the church in Philippi and about how we, who have received His grace, need to follow His example. The attitude of humility and love will attract many people to God s amazing love. Let us

support the IFGF GISI mission program this year, and take part through whatever way we can even if it seems small. When each of us brings our small part to the Lord, He Himself will work to bring a large harvest into His Kingdom. Bible Verses: - Philippi 2:1-30 Prayer Points: - Pray for every program and mission trip that has been planned by IFGF GISI throughout this year to be able to really reach the unreached - Pray that God will open new mission fields this year around the world Day 9 Tuesday, 10 January 2012 God commanded Ezekiel to prophecy over a valley that was filled with dry bones. When he obeyed, those bones began to move and come together bone to bone; they became men s bodies, but without life. Once again, God commanded him to prophecy to these dead bodies, then breath entered them and they stood on their feet A VAST ARMY (Ezekial 37). Words that come out of our mouths can either crush or edify others. If we prophecy good things, then life will start to flow. But if we speak curses, then there will be deaths. We need to speak and prophecy words that will bring encouragement, boldness, and life to people, so that they will rise up and become part of God s vast army that He is raising up in this generation. Bible Verses: - Ezekiel 37 Prayer Points: - Pray that God will raise up young people to reach out to peoples in all of the world s continents - Pray that God will raise them up as a vast army not just to be ordinary people, but rather become radical Christians for Christ Day 10 Wednesday, 11 January 2012 For the lives of young people to be radical, they need to live in holiness in all aspects of their lives. This is becoming more and more difficult as Satan is always targeting young people to destroy. Leading a life of holiness will give them power and freedom, as it is said, without holiness no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). Sin will fill their lives with regret and accusations, making them far from God so that they become powerless and ineffective. How can these young people keep watch over themselves and stay holy? It is by preventing wrong things to enter their minds through their friendships, media, and other ways. Bible Verses: - Romans 6:12-14; 12:1-2 - Psalm 119:9-16 Prayer Points: - Pray that young people can live in holiness

Pray for their friends, so God will protect them from bad influences

Day 11 Thursday, 12 January 2012 Apostles are people who are entrusted with the work of spreading the Gospel, as well as planting and raising up organizations of new churches all around the world. Paul, an important apostle, knew the importance of his responsibility as well as challenges that he would face. This is why he never hesitated in asking his brothers & sisters in Christ to support him in prayer (Romans 15:30, Ephesians 6:18-20, Colossians 4:3-4). In the same way, the Apostolic Team in our church has also been given the task of reaching the unsaved and planting churches around the world; and they continually face many challenges. Let us take part in God s work and do what we can to support them. Bible Verses: - Acts 14 - Isaiah 56:7 Prayer Points: - Pray so that the Apostolic Team is able to care for and shepherd all of the IFGF GISI churches around the world - Pray for God to give them clear visions in leading this great movement

Day 12 - Friday, January 13, 2012 Timothy received the privilege to be one of the most well respected assistants of Paul (Philippians 2:1922). Paul wrote a couple of letters to Timothy to guide him in solving the issues that he would face in leading the church. Timothy was faithful to his calling and performed his responsibilities diligently. We need young Timothies in our church, young people that are equipped, diligent, and willing to pay the price to preach the Gospel. In order to awaken the young generation, we need to be available for them, just as Paul who was always available for Timothy - to be a mentor and spiritual leader that the young generation can respect. Bible Verses: - 1 Timothy 4 - Joel 2:28 Prayer Points: - Pray for the young generation to become ambassadors of Christ on earth. - Pray that God will awaken leaders to become mentors of the young generation in our church. Day 13 - Saturday, January 14, 2012 In Ezekiel 34, The Lord confronted the bad shepherds who did not perform in their duties to strengthen the weak, heal the sick, bind up the wounded, bring back the lost, and search for the lost. Their failures to carry out their duties had caused the sheep to become prey to wild animals - and the Lord detested that. Without the help of the Holy Spirit, the work of a shepherd is impossible to do. After His

resurrection, Jesus left Peter with a mission, to feed His sheep so that they can grow and later feed themselves, and in time, also feed other sheep. By working together with the Holy Spirit, pastors and leaders can gain the strength they need to carry out their ministry duties. Bible Verses: - John 10:1-18 - John 14:15-27 Prayer Points: - Pray for our pastors so they will have the wisdom and revelation of the Holy Spirit to lead the congregation - Pray for all of IFGF GISI s programs worldwide that will be done this year Day 14 - Sunday, January 15, 2012 When Jesus saw the large crowd of people who needed healing and help, He said to his disciples, The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the Harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field (Matthew 9:37-38). The world needs people who care about them, but too often, the workers are busy caring for themselves. Let this be a reminder for us to look into our hearts, so we can have a serving heart and look beyond our own needs to serve others. Bible Verses: - Matthew 25:31-46 - Proverb 11:25 Prayer Points: - Pray that God will awaken the young generation in IFGF GISI that is radical, who can serve Him with all their hearts through GOLKids, GOLTeens, and GOL - Pray for believers to possess a servant heart that is willing to serve Day 15 - Monday, January 16, 2012 Activated to the Next Level has been the theme of our church in recent months. We are challenged to go up to the next level in every area of our lives: spiritually, physically, and mentally. In order to achieve this, we need to capture, welcome, and chase after these visions. This is so that we will witness growth like never before that will turn us into productive individuals. Just like David who was thirsty and hungry for God and had such an intimacy with Him, let us also learn to focus on growing our prayer life, our intimacy with God, and our ministry to Him. Bible Verses: - Psalm 63 - Deuteronomy 6 Prayer Points: - Pray for the congregation to have greater hunger and thirst for God, and to grow in more intimacy with Him - Pray that in the year of 2012, every aspect of our lives can reach a higher level

Day 16 - Tuesday, January 17, 2012 When the church of Antioch was worshipping the Lord and taking time to fast, God gave them specific instructions to send Barnabas and Saul to the mission field. Since then, many workers have been sent out to fulfill the Great Commission (Acts 13) in order to spread the Gospel and disciple new believers, so that, in turn, they can bring others to the Kingdom of God. This requires a lot of teaching, equipping, and persistence. Therefore, every year IFGF GISI holds the Harvest Festival with the purpose of refreshing, equipping, and strengthening the leaders in His church. It is through conferences like this one that new visions for the leaders, pastors, and servants of God are born, in the spirit of shepherding all IFGF GISI churches worldwide to seek the Lord. Let us pray for the hand of God to guide our leaders in fulfilling God s mandate. Bible Verses: - Acts 13 - Ephesians 6:18-20 Prayer Points: - Pray for the ministries of the IFGF GISI Apostolic Team & Pastors in their local churches - Pray for the all the conferences in 2012 to bring a positive impact on the spiritual growth of our congregation.

Day 17 - Wednesday, January 18, 2012 Since the beginning of the Gospel, false prophets have come to mislead people from the truth. Jesus warned the disciples in Mark 13:21-23 that these false prophets come to deceive God s children, and many have been misled because they are weak. These people tend to trust more in the things that look more spiritual, such as the prayer and words of the prophet, the anointing oil, and so on, rather than relying on Jesus Himself (2 Timothy 3:1-9). To avoid being deceived by false prophets, we must be planted and strongly rooted in the Word of God and put our hope in Jesus alone. By studying and meditating on the Word of God, we will be able to avoid the entrapment of false teachings. Bible Verses: - Deuteronomy 4:1-4 - Psalm 119 Prayer Points: - Pray that the children of God will be rooted in the word of God and have the thirst as well as hunger for His word - Pray for the children of God to be protected from false prophets and the antichrist spirit Day 18 - Thursday, January 19, 2012 Many young people nowadays don t have someone mature who can be their role model/mentor. Oftentimes, parents or those who are older than them do not become a good example for them to follow. Peter commanded the elders of the church to be shepherds of God s flock (1 Peter 5). As the leader of a congregation, one must have an honorable character, and especially, he/she must earn the

respect of his/her own children (1 Tim 3:1-6). The grandmother of Timothy, named Lois, was a good role model for her daughter, Eunice, who later also became a good example for Timothy to follow. As a result, Timothy became one of the best assistants to Apostle Paul and made a big impact on the Kingdom of God. Have we become a good role model for our young generation in words and action? Bible Verses: - Titus 2 - Ephesians 5:1-21 Prayer Points: - Pray that our lives reflect Jesus and don t become a stumbling block to the younger generation - Pray that the older the generation can love and invest their lives into the young generation Day 19 - Friday, January 20, 2012 Many parents do not spend much time investing their lives into their children. Many decide to hire babysitters that care for their children in the midst of their busyness. How much of our lives have we invested in the lives of our children that it will get manifested when they are older? Because children are gifts from God, have we taught them seriously about the fear of God? When we pray to ask God to raise the young generation, how much have we actually gotten involved in their lives so they can be impactful individuals in this world? It is our responsibility together to educate and teach the young people the ways of the Lord. Bible Verses - Proverbs 1:8-9, 6:20-23 Prayer Points: - Pray that God will raise up the generation of GOLKids, GOLTeens, and GOL, so we will see God s promise in Joel 2 fulfilled - Pray for parents to teach and raise their children in the way of the Lord Day 20 - Saturday, January 20, 2012 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings (1 Peter 5:8-9). The devil is working hard because the day of the Lord is near. We, as God s children, have to be vigilant and to rely on Holy Spirit for His guidance and protection. Let us pray hand in hand for unity, so that God s compassion can be poured down upon His people and protect us from all harm. Bible Verses: - Ephesian 6:10-20 Prayer Points: - Pray for God s guidance upon the churches and His people - Pray for His protection on all churches around the world Day 21- Sunday, January 22, 2012

We have gone through last 20 days of prayer and fasting inviting God s kingship upon our family, church, and work. To be victorious, we must keep our prayer life activated every day, both individually and corporately. It is very easy to be excited at certain moments, but it is not easy to keep the flame burning throughout the year. Let us welcome a new era of God s work in the church and in the marketplace with the hope and faith that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). Bible Verses: - Philippians 3 Prayer Points: - Pray for strength and leadership in all of IFGF GISI churches worldwide throughout this year of 2012 - Pray for the fulfillment of God s vision in IFGF GISI for 2012
