Siemens SpeedStream 4200 (USB+Ethernet) e 4100 (Ethernet) 1. Introduo Esse manual tem como objetivo preparar o modem ADSL SpeedStream 4200 para funcionar adicionar a funcionalidade de roteador e disponibilizar conexes por DHCP permitindo a entrada automtica de qualquer mquina na internet independente de sistema operacional. Realizei a configurao deste modem sem muitas alteraes nas configuraes originais, diferente do manual proposto por Jorge Elias, tambm disponvel no site da Abusar. O roteamento foi realizado utilizando a porta USB do modem, mas poderia ser feito pela Ethernet. Para utilizar a porta USB do modem necessria a instalao dos drivers que acompanham o modem e fornecidos pela Telemar. S uma observao, no precisa ser feito somente pela USB, pode fazer pela ETHERNET tambm que funciona!!!RAT_CODE Antes de realizar o procedimento o modem no deve estar conectado ao velox telemar, ou seja, voc no deve discar para realizar a configurao. 2. Realizando o Roteamento 2.1 Retornando as configuraes originais de fbrica Vamos devolver ao modem as configuraes originais de fbrica. Isso garante que as configuraes feitas pela operadora, caso existam, afetem nossa configurao. Na parte traseira do modem possui em boto "reset", pressione-o, com a posta de um caneta, at que as luzes pisquem (~4 segundos) e em seguida solte o mesmo. 2.2 Alterando as configuraes de rede para acessar o modem. Voc deve alterar as configuraes da conexo de rede para os seguintes parmetros abaixo, se voc no sabe como acessar essa propriedade consulte a seo 3 deste manual. IP 10.0.0.2 Mscara de sub-rede 255.0.0.0 Gateway padro 10.0.0.1

2.3 Acessando a interface de configurao do modem Para acessar a interface de configurao do modem voce deve executar um navegador web e acessar o seguinte endereo: http://10.0.0.1 Ser exibida uma tela como a figura 2. Deixe os campos com esto, digite sua senha e confirme.

2.4. Criando um perfil de usurio para ter acesso ao ambiente de configurao de modem 2.4.1 Assistente de perfil Para acessar o ambiente de configurao voce deve criar um novo perfil de usurio. Acesse o endereo: http://10.0.0.1/pfwizard.html Uma tela como a da figura 3 deve ser exibida, mas na sua tela no deve aparecer nenhum perfil configurado. Clique no boto "New Profile".

2.4.2. Perfil de configuraes de usurio Ao clicar no boto ser exibida a tela que esta descrita na figura 4. Preencha os campos como abaixo e clique no boto "Avanar".

2.4.3 Filtragem de contedo de perfil Na tela seguinte, figura 4, deixe as configuraes como esto e clique no boto "Avanar".

2.4.4 Acesso a configurao de perfil Como desejamos ter acesso a configurar todos os recursos do modem ento clique na opo "Todos os Itens" e em seguida clique no boto "Avanar". Verifique se a tela de configurao do seu modem esto como na figura 6:

2.4.5. Acesso a segurana do perfil Configure agora a segurana em relao ao acesso as pginas de configurao do modem. importantes que estas estejam protegidas por senha, assim escolha a primeira opo na lista apresentada, como mostra a figura 7 e clique em seguida no boto avanar.

2.4.7 Finalizando a configurao de perfis Para finalizar a configurao de um perfil clique no boto concluir, como na figura 9.

2.5 Acessando as configuraes do modem Feche a janela do navegador, se voce ainda esta com a tela de configuraes de perfis aberta, e o execute o navegador novamente. Acesse agora o endereo http://10.0.0.1/pflogin.html Se aparecer uma tela informando que outro usurio (Admin por exemplo) j est logado ento clique no boto "logout". Se clicou em logout e no consegue entrar como outro

2.6. Transformando o modem em router. Ao digitar sua senha na tela representada pela figura 11 voc ter acesso as configuraes do modem. Algumas vezes o modem solicita que voc entre como o usurio "Admin", ento no estranhe se sua senha no funcionar de imediato, na verdade ele esta pedindo que voce entre com o usurio principal ("Admin"). Aps entrar com usurio e senha uma tela, como a da figura 12 ser exibida, no seu caso do seu modem "Resumo de conexo" exibir que voce estar desconectado. O nmero do MAC foi propositalmente rasurado.

2.6.1 Acessando a interface WAN No menu esquerdo clique em Configuraes > Interface WAN , voc ver a seguinte tela:

2.6.3 Seleo de protocolo Selecione o protocolo PPPoE como na figura 14 abaixo e clique no boto avanar.

2.6.4 PPPoE Tipo Selecione como configurao de PPPoE: "com Bridge PPPoE" como mostra a figura 15 e em seguida clique no boto Avanar.

2.6.5 Circuito Virtual Neste caso voce deve selecionar no, como na figura 16.

2.6.6 PPPoE Contagem de sesso Selecione apenas 1 ponto de contagem de sesso, como na figura 17.

2.6.7 Informaes do usurio Digite o "Nome do Usurio" e a "Senha". Se voc mora em Salvador (DDD 71) e seu telefone 31234567 ento o nome do usurio e senha so: 7131234567. Preencha e

2.6.8 PPP Opes Selecione a opo "Conectar automaticamente ao desconectar". Se o modem for reiniciado ele mesmo ir discar automaticamente para o velox, restando a voc apenas autenticar no site do velox.

2.6.9 PPP Esttico IP No modifique as configuraes desta tela. Clique no boto "Avanar".

2.6.10 Opes de interface Marque as opes que esto na figura 21. Apesar da opo de firewall estar marcada aps as configuraes concludas o mesmo estar desativado. Nos modelos da srie 5200 se o firewall fosse ativado a conexo no era estabelecida, para este modelo no testei.

2.6.11 Nome da conexo Digite um nome para esta conexo e clique em avanar. Um exemplo est na figura 22.

2.6.12 Concluindo a configurao da interface Wan. Ser exibida agora uma tela como a da figura 23 indicando que a configurao esta concluda e que o modem precisa ser reiniciado para ques as configurao sejam efetivas.

Clique agora em "Concluir", mas no reinicie o modem.

2.6.13 Ativando a interface WAN roteada Apos concluir a configurao uma tela semelhante como a da figura 24 ser exibida. Voce dever clicar no boto ativar da interface roteada para ativa-la, depois desse procedimento a tela dever ficar igual a da figura 24.

Neste momento seu modem j esta configurado com uma funo adicional, ou seja, um roteador, mas se voce terminar neste passo os computadores no entraram automaticamente na rede. Vamos no prximo passo configurar o DHCP do roteador para que as mquinas de sua rede recebam automaticamente um endereo IP atribudo pelo roteador. 2.7 Configurando o DHCP do roteador. O protocolo de configurao de host dinmico (DHCP) descreve os meios pelos quais um sistema pode conectar-se a uma rede para obter as informaes necessrias para comunicao atravs dessa rede. Como escrevi no tpico 2.6.13 vamos configurar o roteador de tal forma que as mquinas de sua rede recebam automaticamente um endereo IP e as informaes da rede Velox Telemar. No menu esquerdo: Configurao > DHCP, Selecione a opo "Servidor de DHCP: Ativar" Configure como na figura 25. Observe que o endereo do DNS depende se sua regio, este o que uso em Salvador-BA. Depois de configurado, como abaixo, clique no boto "Salvar configuraes" e reinicie o modem, veja como na seo 2.8.

2.8 Reiniciando o modem Para que as configuraes tenham efeito necessrio reiniciar o modem. Para isso acesse o menu esquerdo "Ferramentas > Reinicializar", em seguida clique no boto "Reinicializar", como na figura 26.

3.0 Montando uma rede de computadores com internet compartilhada. Aposto que voc j desde estar ansioso para ver seus computadores em rede, estes acessando concomitantemente a internet. Do que voce ir precisar? - O primeiro passo montar ou comprar um cabo de rede cripado em crossover. - Adquirir um HUB, switch ou um hub/switch. - Montar ou comprar cabo de rede cripado em paralelo. Como ligar? Como o modem e o HUB ligados: - Conecte o cabo de rede cripado em crossover no modem e no HUB. - Conecte o cabo de rede cripado em paralelo do HUB para a interface de rede do computador. Como configurar as interfaces de rede dos computador? A configurao mais simples deixar todas as conexes de rede no modo DHCP, assim os computadores entraro automaticamente da rede. Para configurar a interface de rede no Windows XP faa: Iniciar > Painel de Controle > Conexes de Rede Clique com o boto direito do mouse sobre a conexo de rede que possui o cabo conectado e escolha a opo "propriedades" como na figura 27.

Use a barra de rolagem para encontrar a opo "Protocolo TCP/IP", clique uma vez sobre a mesma e em seguida no boto "Propriedades" como na figura 28.

29 e em seguida clique no boto "OK". Pronto seu computador j estar em poucos segundos na rede de internet compartilhada. 4. Configurando o Internet Explorer Quando voc possui outros meios de conexo com a internet, normalmente instalamos discadores. Quando o Internet Explorer detecta que voc no esta conectado o mesmo executa uma caixa de dilogo perguntado com qual conexo voce quer discar. Como j estamos conectados temos que desabilitar essa funcionalidade. Acesse: Iniciar > Painel de Controle > Opes de Internet em seguida clique na aba "Conexes" e selecione a opo (se a seleo estiver disponvel): "Nunca discar uma conexo". Veja na figura 30.

5. Concluso Este manual foi construdo com a inteno de ajuda-lo a configurar uma rede de computadores com internet compartilhada, mas no h garantias que essas configurao no possa de alguma forma prejudicar seu aparelho, apesar de ser uma possibilidade remota. Se voc fizer alguma configurao incorreta e quiser recomear o processo do zero, basta executar o boto reset do modem e ele retornar as suas caractersticas originais.

Guia de Configurao do Model DSL ZTE ZXDSL 831 p/ Telemar OI

Por : Fernando Silva Costa Este guia serve para todos os usurios do velox Home (IP dinmico) da telemar/oi RJ que possuam o modem ZTE modelo ZXDSL 831. Aqui voc poder encontrar todos os passos para poder configurar o seu modem tanto para a configurao original Velox para a configurao de roteador, que a usada para se compartilhar o Velox entre diversos computadores ligados numa mesma rede local. O endereo IP default do modem : 192.168.1.1, (mas pode ser tambm 192.168.254.254) portanto voc dever

configurar o endereo IP do seu computador para que ele consiga acessar o modem atravs da conexo de rede entre eles, ou seja, configure o seu computador para: Endereo IP : 192.168.1.2 (ou 192.168.254.10 por exemplo) Mscara de rede: 255.255.255.0 Gateway padro : 192.168.1.1 (ou 192.168.254.254) Ou habilite a opo Obter um endereo IP automaticamente No site da ABUSAR (www.abusar.org.br) voc pode encontrar instrues detalhadas de como fazer isso, caso voc no saiba. Vou assumir daqui pra frente que essas configuraes j foram feitas e esto funcionando adequadamente. Agora basta seguir os seguintes passos: Inicializando a configurao do modem ZXDSL 831: Agora abra o seu navegador e entre novamente com a seguinte URL: http://192.168.1.1 (ou 192.168.254.254) Informe o : Nome do Usurio = TMAR#ZTV5.5.0a (Essa comigo funcionou) Senha = ZTV5.5.0a ou a senha padro do modem Nome do Usurio = ZXDSL (Essa a senha padro) Senha = ZXDSL, tudo em maisculo, e selecione OK. Isso far com que a tela de configurao aparea. CUIDADO COM AS CONFIGURAES. ANTES DE FAZER QUALQUER ALTERAO NO MODEM FAAM O BACKUP DO ARQUIVO DE CONFIGURAO PORQUE QUALQUER COISA QUE DER PROBLEMA NO SPEEDY E VCS PRECISAREM LIGAR PARA L, VOCS DEVERO RETORNAR A CONFIGURAO ORIGINAL PORQUE ELES NO DO SUPORTE PARA MODEM QUE ESTA ROTEADO. EFETUE O BACKUP DA CONFIGURAO ORIGINAL - Selecione a opo Manegement na tela de configurao, e a opo Backup Config - Selecione o boto Backup e salve a configurao do modem no seu computador. Bom, daqui pra frente voc dever escolher se quer fazer com que o seu modem volte configurao original da Telefonica, ou seja, que volte a funcionar como bridge (e para que se tenha acesso Internet ser necessrio instalar o software da Telefonica) ou ento se quer fazer com que o seu modem seja configurado para funcionar como roteador (no precisar instalar nenhum software da Telefonica, e poder conectar o ZXDSL 831 a um hub ou switch e compartilhar a conexo com outros computadores). Vamos dividir ento em duas sees abaixo: uma para a configurao da Telefonica (bridge) e outra para a configurao de roteador. Certifique-se de que a janela de configurao esteja ativa, pois os passos seguintes sero baseados nela. BRIDGE (original Velox) Para voltar configurao padro da Telefonica, selecione a opo Manegement, selecione o checkBox Reset to factory default settings e selecione o boto Reboot.

Tente voltar a configurao do seu computador para IP automtico e instalar normalmente o software da velox (No aconselho) e verifique se j consegue acessar Internet. ROTEADOR Para configurar como roteador, selecione a opo Quick Start, selecione a opo Quick Setup. - Configure VPI = 0 e VCI = 33 e selecione NEXT - Selecione o Protocol = PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) e o Encapsulation Type = LLC/SNAP e selecione NEXT - Selecione a opo Obtain an IP address automatically, e o checkbox Enable NAT e selecione NEXT - Preencha os campos PPP User Name: com o login de acesso que seu provedor lhe forneceu (ex: monopolio@oi.com.br) PPP Password: com a senha de acesso Session established by = Always On e NEXT - A seguir ser apresentada uma tela informando o Primary IP Adress, a SubNet Mask, o Host Name e o domain Name, no foi necessrio altera-lo. - Nesta tela mantenha sem seleo o checkBox Configure the second IP Address and Subnet Mask for LAN interface.,e selecione a checkBox Enable DHCP Server on the LAN: que no meu caso apareceu a informao de Start e End IP Adress automaticamente, que est dentro da faixa da Mscara do IP. - Selecionar Next - Ir aparecer uma tela com o Sumrio da configurao, que no meu caso tem as seguintes informaes: Internet (WAN) Configuration: VPI / VCI 0 / 33 Connection Type PPPoE LLC/SNAP, Always On NAT On WAN IP Address Automatically Assigned Default Gateway Automatically Assigned DNS Server Automatically Assigned LAN Configuration: Primary LAN IP 192.168.1.1 / 255.255.255.0 Secondary LAN IP 0.0.0.0 / 0.0.0.0 DHCP Server Enabled DHCP IP Range 192.168.1.2 ~ 192.168.1.15 DHCP (Aconselho colocar mais ou menos o mumero de mquinas q/ vc tiver com uma folga) Lease Time 1 days 0 hours 0 minutes Selecione FINISH. O modem ento vai dar um boot e quando ele voltar j dever estabelecer a conexo velox automaticamente. repare se seu endereo IP mudou para um endereo na faixa que vo especificou.

Verso em ingls Configure to router mode. 1. Login to http://192.168.1.1 with the username and password. (Case sensitive) *--------------- esse funcionou ----------------------* Username:TMAR#ZTV5.5.0a Password:ZTV5.5.0a *-----------------------------------------------------* 2. When logged in, click on the WAN tab. 3. Click on ATM VC and make sure interface aal5-0 VPI = 0 VCI = 33 MUX = LLC Max proto = 2 4. Click on PPP and then a new interface. 5. Set the new interface as PPP interface = 0 ATM VC = aal5-0 protocol = PPoE use DNS = enable security = PAP Dont forget to set your user username@streamyx and also your password. Submit after that. 6. After that, click on Admin and then Commit and then Reboot.
