DISCRIPRTION OF THE COMPANY The stay awake is a distinguished telemarketing company in the global outsourcing industry offering telemarketing services to small and medium sized businesses worldwide.  The stay awake started up 7yeas ago as a small business. Over the next few years, the organization grew rapidly and was doing very well financially. Presently, the organization employees 200 people, most of them working in telemarketing department 40% male, 60% female and fulltime. Age distributions of employees are 25 to 35 years old.  EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

 The last 1-2 years, costs related to a number of employee health-related issues have escalated, mainly in increased health care costs. There are number of issues that management feels are affecting the health and wellbeing of employees. The aim of the programs is to help people with a disability improve the employee health care. MISSION STATEMENT The stay awake Employee Wellness Program seeks to establish a workplace that encourages and supports a healthy lifestyle by integrating health promotion activities and resources that help to enhance health & well-being.

 

GOAL & OBEJECTIVE Promote the health and reduce health risk behaviors of employees, and Identify and correct conditions in the workplace that can compromise the health of our employees, reduce their levels of productivity, impede employee success, and contribute to escalating health care costs. Create a culture that embraces wellness initiatives and activities. TARGETS Employee Such as :  Cardiovascular Disease: Blood Pressure, Cholesterol  Diabetes  Exercise & Fitness  Nutrition & Weight Loss  Asthma  Mental Health: Stress, Anxiety, Depression  Addictive Behaviors: Smoking, Alcohol & Drugs  Preventive Screenings HRA(Health Risk Assesment)

KEY COMPONENTS OF HEALTH PROMOTIN FOR STAFF: Care Management: Our care management programs offer gym

membership and condition-specific information to help employees understand their disease better and take a more active role in controlling it. These programs, along with the sound advice of physicians, provide employees with the support to take charge of their health.  Tailor Activities to Needs: ongoing assessments and surveys of the staff wellness plan to update and improve its effectiveness. SURVEY Internal Survey We are planning company wellness programs to help you feel better and stay healthy. In order to plan programs that best meet your needs and interests we would like your suggestions! Please take a few minutes to answer some questions about your interests. HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAM POLICY POLICY Stay Awake is committed to maintaining a workplace in which health is part of everything we do. Improving the health of our staff through health and fitness programs makes good business sense. PURPOSE The purpose of this policy is to encourage our staff through fitness program to keep fit and healthy increasing productivity, enhance coping strategies for stress, reducing sick days, staff turnover and OH&S cost, by arranging corporate memberships or negotiated reduced fees for local health clubs and facilities. APPLICATION/EXCEPTIONS This policy applies to all Stay Awake company employees and contractors. There are no exceptions to Stay Awake companys health and Wellness Policy. ROLES AND RESPONSBILITIES Implementer/trainer/leader/Sponsor: Establish health and wellness goals and objectives that are aligned with those established by the corporate Health and Wellness Committee. Participate in the development and maintenance of Health and Wellness policies and standards for Stay Away Company. Support and encourage employee involvement in health and wellness program. Provide communication and training in support of health and wellness goals and objectives. Participate in the program, activities and resources provided through Stay Awake Companys health and wellness program. Provide support in the implementation of this policy and standards via assisting in the communication of Health and Wellness program. Champion/monitor: Develop and maintain the Health and Wellness policies and standards for Stay Awake Company. Develop and distribute health and wellness information and communications.

Analyst/Reporter: Monitor safety performance priorities to the Company. DEFINITIONS Health: A state of well-being free from disease. Wellness: The condition of good physical Employee: A person who is hired to provide services to a company on a regular basis in exchange for compensation and who does not provide these services as part of an independent business. OH&S: is a cross-disciplinary area concerned with protecting the safety, health and welfare of people engaged in work or employment. The goal of all occupational health and safety programs is to foster a safe work environment. Health and Wellness committee: It is a committee created to support and make decisions relate to the health and wellness program of the employees in order to minimize the health issues existing in the company. This committee is composed of the Human resources department, finance department, CEO. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS AND MATERIAL Training requirements will be identified and managed in accordance with the agreement between Stay Awake Company and the local health club. RESOURCES The Human resources department and the corporate health and wellness committee will assist each registration unit in complying with this policy as requested.
