Dhoke ka Grah Planet of deceit

The planet of deceit is a very powerful planet. The nature of the planet is basically uncertain. If it gives benefic results, it will be doubly beneficial, and if it gives malefic results it could be doubly malefic. It is this unsure and uncertain nature of the planet which makes it a planet of deceit. [ A ] Planet of deceit for the year of age : [ Optional] For each year of the age a planet has been identified as a planet of deceit. The method to find it out is that make a table of 12 X 11 columns [horizontal 12, vertical 11 ]; in the top column across fill the planets in this sequence : Sun, moon, ketu, mars, mercury, Saturn, rahu, planets of the 8th house, planets of the 9th house, Jupiter, venus, planets of the 12th house. Down below in the rest of the blanks fill the years from 1 to 120. This is a sthir table [fixed table] and does not change every year. This table will hold good for the whole life of the native. Some Lal Kitab scholars make use of this table while a few others prefer ignoring it. I, personally, do not prefer using it. Note : If the 8th house is unoccupied then write mars & Saturn ; if the 9th house is unoccupied then write Jupiter ; and if the 12th house is unoccupied then write Jupiter. [ B ] Planet of deceit according to the varsh phal year : To find out which planet is likely to act as a planet of deceit for a particular year according to the Varsh phal, once again draw a table of 12 X 11 columns. Fill the columns with years from 1 to 120. In the top column first plot the Sun in the house it is placed in the janma kundali except : [a] that if the sun is in the 6th house then plot it above the 9th year and if in the 9th house then place it above the 6th year. [b] if the sun is in the 7th then place it over the 7th year, but if the first house of the janma kundali is vacant then place the sun above the 5th year.

Then plot the rest of the planets in the same sequence as given above. Note : If the 8th house is unoccupied then write mars & Saturn ; if the 9th house is unoccupied then write Jupiter ; and if the 12th house is unoccupied then write Jupiter. Example Kundali : Born : February 15, 1971 Time : 8:50 am Place : Chandigarh [ 76e53; 30n44 ] The janma kundali is : Lagna : Meen 1st house : not occupied 2nd house : Saturn 3rd house : not occupied 4th house : not occupied 5th house : not occupied 6th house : ketu 7th house : moon 8th house : not occupied 9th house : mars & Jupiter 10th house : venus 11th house : mercury 12th house : sun & rahu Since the sun is in the 12th house therefore sun will be written in the last column above the 12th year when it will reach the 1st house.. Therefore the sequence of planets to be written on the top will be : Moon : Ketu : Mars : Mercury : Saturn : Rahu : above 1st year above 2nd year above 3rd year above 4th year above 5th year above 6th year

Mars & Saturn : above 7th year [ 8th house empty therefore mars+sat ] Mars & Jupiter : above 8th year [ planets placed in the 9th house] Jupiter : Venus : Sun & rahu : Sun: above 9th year above 10th year above 11th year [ planets placed in the 12th house] above 12th year

[ C ] Planet placed in the 10th house : A planet in the 10th house can also behave like a planet of deceit. If the same planet gets placed in the 10th house once again during a varsh phal then it will certainly act as a planet of deceit. [ D ] Planet of deceit during the Mahadasha period : Mahadasha in the Lal Kitab is a very different concept. I have dealt with it in another article. It has nothing to do with the Traditional concept of Vinshottari or Ashtottari dasha system of Vedic astrology. Mahadasha in the Lal Kitab is a very rare phenomena. There are quite a few conditions laid down for a planet to go into the Lal Kitab mahadasha. If a planet, after fulfilling these conditions does go into the Lal Kitab mahadasha then the rules to find out the dhoke ka grah during the period of that mahadasha are slightly different. [a] The sequence of the planets to be written on the top of the table remains the same, i.e. sun, moon, ketu, mars, mercury, Saturn, rahu, planets of 8th, planets of 9th, Jupiter, venus, planets of 12th. But instead of plotting the Sun first, in this case it will be the planet which goes into mahadasha which will be placed in the first column. Suppose it is venus which goes into mahadasha then it will be venus which will be placed on top of the first column and the rest of the sequence of the planets will follow. [b] In the first column instead of writing the year 1, we will have to write the year of Jataks age when the dasha begins. Suppose some one starts his Venus Mahadasha of Lal Kitab at the age of 23 years then the figure of 23 will be written in place of year 1. Fill the rest of the table for 20 years. Suppose some one starts the Vinshottari dasha of venus just after when the Lal Kitab mahadasha of Venus ends, in that case the table will have to be of 40 years.

Summarizing, in any particular year the following category of planets can be of deceit : Those indicated in the fixed table based on age [optional] ; those indicated in table based on the varsh phal ; and a planet of the 10th house once again getting placed in the 10th in a varsh phal chart; planet of deceit during the Mahadasha period , if any. I would like to remind you once again that a planet of deceit does not mean a malefic planet. It can be both either a benefic or a malefic. In both the cases it will be very powerful and the results can be twice of what it would normally give. Bhooshan priya
