Line Dancing
Fun and fitness are the goals for this class. Line Dancing is a great workout for all ages especially those who want to improve brain fitness as line dancing challenges our minds as well as our bodies. Burning calories, increasing flexibility and strengthening the heart are especially good for the mature crowd. Class fee: $29. All classes are held from 5:306:15 on Monday evenings for 6 weeks. Hoop Fit by Hoop Happy Hoop Healthy LLC
Hoop Fit is the latest trend in fitness and will help strengthen your core, add definition to your arms and tighten your legs. Get a great cardio workout as you learn the basics of hula hooping. Then combine those basic moves with upbeat music to create a fun and energetic fitness workout in this 6 week session. Hoop Happy Hoop Healthy LLC hoops must be used for this class and will be available from the instructor on the first night. The cost of the hoop is $45 and then the hoop is yours to keep. SX3 (Stretch, Strength and Step It Up)


In order to improve our bodies as we age we need to focus on three things.strength training, stretching and aerobics. SX3 is designed to bring all 3 areas together in one class. Allowing 15 minutes for each area helps you to get started on the road to a healthier lifestyle. Stronger muscles, bones and heart and more flexibility and energy are just some of the many benefits. Zumba
Zumba is a dance/fitness program that incorporates Latin, International, Pop, and Hip Hop music and dance movements into a fun and effective work out. The dance movements are cardio-based but also include body toning for a complete work out. Please wear athletic shoes and comfortable exercise clothing. Water bottle and towel are optional but recommended. Join the Zumba party as certified instructor, Marcia Geissinger, leads you through the fun and exciting dance moves. Class fee: $59. TaiChi
This form of exercise is fast becoming the best class for overall health benefits, especially for adults. The slow movements in each form are derived from nature and significantly reduce stress and tension along with the deeper breathing for which Tai Chi is known. Studies have shown a 50% decrease in falls, 30% less pain and stiffness and up to 83% increase in mobility. Class fee: $29. All classes are held from 6:307:15 on Monday evenings for 6 weeks. 12Voice-2 Are people always telling you that you have a great voice? Do you often find yourself listening to your favorite audiobook, commercial or cartoon character and think I could do that? This fun and empowering 90 minute introductory workshop covers the different types of voiceovers and what tools are needed in order to find success in the industry. Via Skype, iChat, Qik, Google Video or a simple phone chat your instructor will coach you in a one-on-one setting as you read from real scripts taking notes on your performance so you can receive a professional voice evaluation later. This introductory class will explore the beauty of the Italian culture and will introduce words and phrases that are used in daily life, activities, and travel. Wet-On-Wet Painting
Paint a complete professional oil painting in one night! No experience or talent required! Learn how to paint the Wet-on-Wet method popularized by Bob Ross and other television artists. This technique makes it easy and fun to create your own masterpiece in one evening! Oil paints, canvas, and easel will be provided. Students will need to supply their own brushes. Brushes needed for all paintings are a line, 1 small round and fan. Brushes are supplied for a $3.50 rental fee or you can purchase a set of 4 for $30 from your instructor. Wear old clothing. 12Span-2 Back by demand. Gain a basic understanding of the Spanish language to help you communicate better at work and/or in your personal life. American Sign Language 1

12ASL-1 Students will be provided with an introduction to the fundamental principals of ASL including: vocabulary, sentence structure, grammar, finger spelling, facial expressions and spatial awareness. Chef Jill Hanson of Cichetti will show you how to make several dishes that you will be able to sample at the end of each class. See class date for specific dishes. Class fee: $29. Beginning Photography
Improve your holiday and vacation photos! This beginning class provides an introduction to the basics of digital photography including shutter priority, when to use a flash, memory cards, lenses and camera accessories. Lighting in a variety of situations will be covered, as well as close up shots, nature shots and sporting event pictures. You will also learn to email and retouch your photos using Picasa (a free photo editing program). You will need to bring a camera with interchangeable lenses to class. Class fee: $49.
