Immediate Inference An inference drawn directly from one premises is known as immediate inference.

True for ALL Suppose if A is True! y y y y A: All warriors are great E: No warriors are great(False) I : Some warriors are great(True) O: Some warriors are not great(False)

Reason of E (False) In first proposition he said that all warriors are great which is universal affirmative proposition, if this is true then the E proposition (No warriors are great) will be false because its neglecting the first proposition.

Reason of I (True) I is the sub class of A, so if all warriors are great of a class then definitely some warriors will be great. So I is true.

Reason of O (False) O is the contradictory of A, so if all warriors are great of a class then how some warriors are not great of the same class, so thats why O is false.

Suppose if E is True! y y y y E: No warrior are Great I: False O: True A: False

Reason of I (False) In E proposition he said that no warriors are great of a class then how some warriors are great of the same class so that is why I is False. Reason of O (True) IF E is true then O is definitely true because O is the sub class of E. if no one is great then definitely some are also not great of the same class. Reason of A (False) E is universal negative proposition and A is universal affirmative proposition so these are contradictories of each other. If E is true then A must be False. Suppose I is True! y y y y I: Some warriors are Great O: Undetermined A: Undetermined E: False

Reason of O (Undetermined) In I some warriors are Great, and we dont know how much warriors are great it will be one or more than one, so same like in O proposition we dont know how much warriors are not great it will be one or more than one. So we cannot determine it as True or False.

Reason of A (Undetermined) I is the sub class of A and in I proposition he said that some warriors are Great it will be one or more than one but not all, so A will not be true and as well as false because they are not mention the number of warriors so it is not determine itself therefore it is undetermined. Reason of E (False) I is the contradictory of E. In I some warriors are great and in E No warriors are great, so its totally opposite of I therefore E is False.

Suppose O is (True) y y y y O: Some warriors are not great A: False E: Undetermined I: Undetermined

Reason of A (False) O proposition is contradictory of A proposition so if Some warrior are not great then how we can say that all warriors are great. Therefore A proposition will be False. Reason of E (Undetermined) In O proposition he said that some warriors are not great and we take it as true, and in E he said that No one is great so it cannot be true and it cannot be false because we dont know the exact number of warriors which are great and not great. And he did not determining itself. Therefore its undetermined. Reason of I (Undetermined) Suppose the numbers of warriors are 60% in O he said that some warriors are not great and in I said that some are great so in both O and I he dint mention the number of warriors out of 6o. so I did not determined itself as true or false so thats why it undetermined.

False For ALL Suppose A is (False) y y y y A: All warriors are great E: Undetermined I: Undetermined O: True

Reason of E (Undetermined) A is a universal affirmative proposition and E is universal negative proposition so both are opposite to each other. In A we said ALL warriors are great and take it as false so in E he said no warriors are great it means in E he is also in the favor of A so we cannot determined it as false or true its undetermined. Reason of I (Undetermined) In I proposition he said some warriors are great. I is the sub class of A. if A is false then I is also false but we cannot take it as false because ALL warriors are great is false then may be Some warriors are great is true, its undetermined we cannot take it as false and true. Reason of O (True) O is the contradictory of A. if A proposition ALL warriors are great takes as false then defiantly Some Warriors are not great also related with A in contradictories they both cannot be false or both cannot be true so if A is false then O is true.

Suppose E is False y y y y E: No warriors are great A: Undetermined I: True O: Undetermined

Reason of A (undetermined) In E he said No warriors are great and take it as false then how A proposition will be true or false because in A he said all Warriors are great that is opposite to E but E is false, So A will be undetermined because its not determined itself it is true or false. Reason of I (True) I proposition is contradictory of E proposition and they both cannot be true or False and E is universal negative and I is particular affirmative so may be Some warriors are great So if E is false than I must be true because they are contradictory of each other. Reason of O (Undetermined) If E is false than how we can say Some warrior ware not great may be some warrior are great and some are not so I cannot determined itself as a true or false therefore it is undetermined. Suppose I is False y y y y I: Some warriors are great A:False E:True O:True

Reason of A (False) I is taken as false and in A he said all warriors are great and I is sub class of A so if I is taken as False then A will be also False. Reason of E (True) E is the condictory of I, they both cannot be true or false so if I is take as false so E will be true and if some are false then no will be great so E is True. Reason of O (True) O is the sub-contraries of I they both cannot be false if one is false than other must be false so Some warriors are great is false then O some warriors are not great will be True because their meaning are same. So thats why O is true. Suppose O is False y y y y O: Some warriors are not great A:True E:False I:True

Reason of A (True) A is contradictory of O. if some warriors are not great taken as false so A proposition All Warriors are great is true because in A he is saying about universal affirmative and particular negative is already taken as false so A is true.

Reason of E (False) In O he said Some warriors are not great and it is taken as false so E no warriors are great and O is the sub class of E so if sub class is false then E class must be false. Reason of I (True) I is sub contraries of O they both cannot be false if one is false than other must be true. In this example he said some warriors are not great and taken it as false and in I he said some warriors are great so if some of O classes are false then some of I will be true.
