Four hypothesis were addressed in this research 1. nternet addiction is positively correlated with I loneliness among adolescent. 2. nternet addiction is positively correlated with social I anxiety among adolescent. 3. nternet addiction is higher in boys than girls. 4. I Loneliness is higher in boys as compare to girls. As study was conducted to find out the relationship of internet addiction with loneliness and social anxiety among adolescent, convenient sampling technique was used for sample selection. The sample comprised of 120 late adolescents aged 16 to 20 from Rawalpindi. Male and female were equal in numbers i.e. 60 male 60 female. Students who were studying in separate education systems were only included in the research. Initially 150 were approached but only 120 were mainly considered in the research other were excluded because did not follow the instructions. Demographic sheets were used as instrument included basic information like age, gender, birth order, number of siblings, father and mother occupation, time he/she spend on internet ,most preferred activity on internet ,one benefit and one drawback was also supposed to write at a time.
