Not only will techniques and strategies for accruing a meaningful audience be analyzed, but also how these technologies can be used as a means for distribution of content. Readings: Various Readings will be given throughout the semester

Course objectives During the semester, students will be introduced to a variety of social media platforms and gain an understanding of how to use each platform to build an online audience. Learn best practices of online branding. Gain an understanding tracking web statistics using Google Analytics. Be able to optimize posts for Search Engine Optimization. Learn email marketing techniques. Have an overview of Social Media listening services. Be able to create a customer Facebook fan page Personal Grade Record: Use this sheet to track your progress in class and calculate your final grade.
