In 2005, there were 107 Police Officers assigned to this detail. In 2009, there were 123 Police Officers assigned to this detail. Personally responsible for complete security detail preparations, travel and operations. * Supervision over 1088 bed facility. Directly supervised the Inmate Services Division (To include: Medical, Transports, Crisis Intervention Team, Work Crews, Food Services, Commissary, Religious Services, and G.E.D. Services) * Developed and implemented the Brazos County Crisis Intervention Team in 2007. The implementation of this team reduced the mental health inmate population considerably, which saved the County an average of $750,000 per year. * Collaborated with area Police Departments and assisted in the development of their policy and procedures for mental health crisis response. * Reorganized for Medical Division Operations. Developed and implemented policies, procedures and protocols. This reorganization improved operational efficiency, reduced County medical cost and reduced County liability by diminishing the number of law suits. * Detention Response Team Commander for 10 years. Supervised all tactical operations to ensure safety and security. Developed and instructed training. Conducted threat assessments of facilities and operations.

* Internal Affairs Investigations (Criminal, Civil Right's violations and internal policy and procedure violations) * Developed RFPs (Request for Proposal) for Sheriff's Office bids for contractual services. The development of these statistical reports justified the agency to increase personnel in both divisions.
