The Movement's main focus is to mobilize support for Nigeria's President Goodluck Jo nathan, GCFR and Vice President Namadi Sambo, GCON in the 2011 presidential elec tions as well as mobilize support for the success of the programmes of the Feder al Government at all levels. Since inception GNPM has built up a solid membershi p base that cuts across party lines, nation-wide. Between August 2008 and April 30, 2010, I served as Area Security Adviser first, for Greater Warri Area and later, Northern Swamp Area, both in the Weste rn Delta Division, a role which put me in charge of the physical security of all SPDC facilities, including Residential Areas (RAs), Industrial Area (IA), the I A Ogunu Jetty, the Osubi Airstrip - in Warri, and Flow Stations, Field Logistic Bases, Rig Sites, Well heads, etc - in the Northern Swamp Area's Exploration and Production activities in Nigeria's Western Niger Delta. I joined SCB in March 2006 as Country Security Manager and was in charge of phys ical security for the Lagos Head Office and all the branches of the Bank nationwide. As Country Security Manager I was in charge of physical security for the B ank's premises, including access control, CCTV installation & maintenance, super vision of contract security guards, cash-in-transit, processing of self-audits a nd undertaking Risk Assessments of the Bank's properties, security of visiting e xpatriate staff in line with the security standards, policies, procedures and gu idelines of the SCB Group. PERIOD: 2001 - 2006 SHERATON LAGOS HOTEL & TOWERS 30 MOBOLAJI BANK ANTHONY WAY IKEJA, LAGOS I joined Sheraton Lagos as Director of Security and assumed responsibility for t he Safety and Security of the Hotel's staff and assets, guests and visitors. Thu s I was in charge of recruitment and training of in-house security staff; screen ing and hiring of contract security providers; Initiating, coordinating and supe rvision of the purchase and installation of security and safety equipment like C CTV, Alarm System, fire fighting equipment; I represented Sheraton in Nigeria's Country Council of Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), served as member of the OSAC Executive Board of the Nigeria Country Council, and was once the Se cretary; chaired the Health & Safety Committee of Sheraton Lagos; liaised with l aw enforcement and other governmental security & security regulatory agencies fo r current security trends and implementation appropriate mitigants. Vigorously pursued the fight against counterfeiting, bringi ng culprits to prosecution and helped the company regain customer confidence and push profit levels.
