Since 1995 Jonathan Cross has become one of the most experienced Computer Forens ic Investigators, Computerized Litigation, and Computerized Trial consultants in Florida if not America. His experience has covered hundreds of cases including but not limited to, Aviation, Construction, Contract, Personal Injury, SEC case s, Insurance, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Corporate Fraud, Divorce, criminal, su ch as Money Laundering, Drug Related Crimes, White Collar Crimes, and many other s. When joining Trial Images in 1995 as General Manager, the use of forensics, let alone litigation support and use of computerized technology was in its infancy. Trial Images was the first company in south Florida to ever provide an electroni c courtroom scenario, and Jonathan Cross was the first consultant to provide ele ctronic trial presentation in Federal court in South Carolina. There have been m any other firsts since then. In 1997 Jonathan formed his own company Automated Legal Solutions Inc. and as a certified Summation trainer, Jonathan Cross provided training in the areas of co mputerized litigation and trial presentation to more than 100 law firms. In June of 2007 Jonathan Cross, along with attorney David Hazouri Esq. created The Ciph er Group LLC. The Cipher Group LLC has a clear focus on the use of forensics and E-Discovery in litigation. In September 2009 Jonathan wrote and had approved fo r CLE credits a one day training program that includes both Forensics and E-Disc overy. Over the last 16 years, and working in massive cases, (a 2008 case had 36 Millio n records, and needed over 100 databases to evaluate all the data) Jonathan's ex perience starts by advising the attorneys on electronic evidence preservation an d capture procedures, and goes all the way through the case until, and including , electronic presentation of the electronic evidence. It is this knowledge from beginning to end of a case, as it relates to the use of electronic evidence that makes Jonathan's experience so valuable to his clients. Having been accepted to the only independent certified training school in Americ a along with past and fellow students from the FBI, DOD, CIA, Law Enforcement, F ortune 500 companies and Military, in June 2003 he completed his training in For ensic computer evidence and Electronic Discovery and as such is therefore entitl ed to use a title of Computer Forensic Investigator. In 2008 he again attended t hree weeks of intensive computer forensic training at Encase in Washington DC, w here he completed level 1, level 2, and advanced computer forensics. In 2008 Jonathan Cross completed an investigation into 36 million hospital recor ds, and became the key player in the settlement negotiations, assisting DLA Pipe r win a significant victory for their client. 15 years, hundreds of cases, criminal and civil, tracking evidence across many c ountries, and presenting electronic evidence in trials with a combined value in excess of 1 Billion dollars, take all this, then add the ability to teach, as we ll as providing expert testimony, then this is the experience you need for your case.
