Cardiovascular and Respiratory Systems Assessment Criteria


Pupils are able to name the major areas of the heart and its valves Pupils explain the process of blood flow through the heart and its chambers Pupils are able to name the major blood vessels bringing blood back to and away from the heart Pupils are able to explain the flow of blood around the body Pupils can correctly name parts of the conduction system Pupils correctly state how the electrical impulse spreads over the heart Pupils state how the heart acts as a double pump Pupils state how long the cardiac cycle lasts

You did however require planty of prompting during the task which has reduced your grade. However you naming of the parts of the circulatory system was efficient and all of the additional questions I asked were answered well however lacked detail to push you to the merit grade.
