What is The WMI Internship Program?

WMI is a unique program designed to bridge the growing gap between what college degrees provide and what professional work places demand. WMI uses a pyramid approach to experiential learning, where tailored internships build on specially designed core seminars, and are then capped by site visits, guest speakers and networking. Whether it is traditional journalism, social media, content creation, or new generation public relations WMI guarantees you will leave with the hard skills to be career-ready.

I learned more about my major, my career and myself in 9 weeks than in 2 years at my university. It was the most enlightening, exciting and fast-paced summer of my life. Jillian Rogers, University of Florida
