STEPS 1 Choices to create happiness for Positive Attitude "When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." Helen Keller All of us meet people who just seem to be happy. Perhaps we assume that those people are naturally happy, or that they are the lucky people or that they are loving parents. But they are happy because they make specific choices regarding their thinking and behaviour which create happiness that further leads to their positive attitude. Their choices: a) Optimism: Optimistic people always see the glass as half full rather than half empty. They always charge their adult self (very mature part of the personality) and open their mind towards the wonderful opportunities the life has offered. They remain happy and enjoy every movement of their life. Be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet. Make all your friends feel that you appreciate their good qualities and strengths. Look at the sunny side of everything. Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best.Give everyone a smile. Spend so much time improving yourself that you have no time left to criticize others. Be too big for worry and too noble for anger.

b) Kindness: People who arekind towards others and themselves oftenly feel happy. They relies that happiness is the result of kindness. Mother Terrisa used to say that, you always show kindness towards yourself that will teach you to remain kind towards others; it will give you immense enjoyment and focus your mind towards your goals. c) Forgiveness: People who dont harbor resentment towards others remain happy and focus their energy towards positive things. d) Acceptance of reality: Accepting the reality prevents frequent mood swings and creates happiness. People who show gratitude what they have rather than complaining about what they dont have often feel happy. We see even the disabled persons being happy (e.g. Ramanand Sagar- Blindman-Great Indian Musician, Helen Keller-Blind, dum and deff- great American poetess). They always showed gratitude to god what they have and remained focused towards their work. 2) Change focus look for the positive: - You need to become a seeker of good. If we utilize our present to its fullest, we are sousing the seeds for better future. 5) Get into continuous education programme: Intellectual education influences the head and value based education influences our heart. If we want to build character in our homes, offices and society we must achieve minimum level of moral & ethical literacy. If you associate with givers, you will become one. If you associate with thinkers, you will become one. If you associate with negative people, you surely become one, Remember a persons character is not judged by the company he keeps but also by the company he avoids. Learn to like the things that need to be done: Start by doing what is necessary then what is possible, and suddenly you will do the impossible. 9) Start your day with some positive: Start your morning with good things.
