Biography:
In un possibile futuro, da qualche parte nel tempo e nello spazio... E' passato ormai un secolo dalla nascita di uno dei pi grandi eroi di Varisia, forse una nascita comune per quei tempi tumultuosi, nessuno poteva immaginare che quel ragazzo sarebbe stato un faro di speranza per le generazioni future. Wollof nato presso la citt di Sandpoint all'interno di una famiglia medio-ricca. Sua madre era una sacerdotessa di Iomadae, un vera credente che metteva al primo posto sempre e solo la sua dea. La cosa non infastidiva nessuno nella famiglia, anche perch fino a quel tempo la Dea non chiedeva altro che preghiere e dedizione, nulla di pericoloso insomma. La cosa frustante per per Wollof era il doverla ascoltare mentre tentava di istruirlo sui dogmi della sua chiesa, lui era solo un ragazzino, e non era certo suo destino diventare un, come li definiva lui, sacerdote pappamolla. Probabilmente questo atteggiamento era derivante da suo padre, che nonostante fosse solo una guardia, quindi nulla in confronto alla moglie, era ben pi ammirato e rispettato dal figlio che vedeva in lui una sorta di eroe senza macchia ne paura delle tipiche storie fantastiche che vengono raccontate ai bambini. Senza contare che il padre incoraggiava questo atteggiamento allenandolo nel fisico e portandolo fin da giovane ad avere un bel fisico per la sua et. Non c' da scordarsi per del fratello Elrich, infatti Wollof aveva un fratellino, decisamente meno talentuoso nel fisico, ma negato anche nello studio della chiesa, insomma una sorta di pecora nera della famiglia. Nonostante tutto nessuno glie lo faceva pesare e veniva amato alla stessa maniera di Wollof dai genitori. Purtroppo nessuno era a conoscenza dei grandi poteri nascosti di Elrich, neppure lui! Fu cos che un giorno, mentre Wollof tornava dall'allenamento mattiniero, una grande esplosione coinvolse la sua casa, e le fiamme la avvolsero in un baleno. Wollof, incurante della sua vita, si gett fra le fiamme per salvare la madre e il fratello che erano ancora in casa. Passarono secondi interminabili quando trov finalmente la madre, ormai priva di vita schiacciata sotto una pesante trave di legno, era ancora intenzionato a salvare il fratello quando una figura lo prese con forza e lo port fuori dalla casa, Wollof cerc di opporre resistenza ma il fuoco e il fumo lo avevano reso privo di forza. Poco dopo il suo salvataggio la casa crollo, e si rese conto che era vivo solo per merito del suo salvatore, una certa Shalelu, con il quale ora si sentiva decisamente in debito. A fiamme spente fu trovato il corpo della madre, ma non quella del fratello, cos passo la prima settimana con suo padre per sostenersi a vicenda in quel momento difficile, poi una volta che il padre trov una sistemazione si

mise alla ricerca del fratello scomparso nella speranza di trovarlo ancora vivo. Divent quindi a tutti gli effetti un avventuriero pronto a correre pericoli inimmaginabili per spirito di avventura e per la speranza di ritrovare un fratello scomparso. L'anziano scrittore stropiccia gli occhi, ormai stanco, domani continuer con il suo lavoro, cos chiude il libro mettendo in vista solo la sua copertina, sul quale recata la scritta: La storia di Wollof il magnifico...
