How to prepare for SSC Junior Engineer (JE) Examination?

by navin. ADVERTISEMENTS HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE EXAMINATION OF JUNIOR ENGINEER SSC (JE)? Engineering is one of the most important parts from the ancient time. Now in current time it emerges most productive segment of job sector, which attract most intelligent minds. For searching intelligent mind in this particular fields SSC asked applications from the eligible candidates. SSC will be conducting the examination in this purpose. The examination contains two stages. In first stage of examination written test will be held. This paper has both (objective and subjective) type questions. The questions related to General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and General Engineering will be in the part of objective segment of written examination. 200 marks will be allotted for the Objective part of the written examination and rest of 300 marks will be allotted for the Subjective part of the written examination. Out of 200 marks of objective question 50 marks is allotted for the General Intelligence and General Awareness each and 100 marks is allotted for the General Engineering. In subjective part of written examination the questions related to General Engineering will asked. The candidate who got minimum marks for selection will be called for the Interview. 100 marks are allotted for the Interview section. In this exam the standard of the General Engineering questions will be based on Diploma category. Questions in General reasoning and Intelligence contain verbal and non verbal reasoning. In General Awareness, questions related to Current Affairs, Indian Constitution, Indian Freedom Struggle and Indian Economy will be asked. Preparation Strategy:v Students should revise the previous year questions as much as he or she can.

v During this period of revision work students should develop own tricks to solve the difficult questions. v v Candidates should focus on their syllabus also. For getting better result in the examination the formula application is the best idea.

v After solving the subjective questions candidate should check it thoroughly as precautionary measure.

v v

During solving the questions there is no need to explain in complicated manner. Important topics of the contents will be shown in the highlighted.

v It would be better to glance the NCERT book of relevant subject of class ten for the preparation of the General Awareness. v The more emphasis should be in the mind of the candidate how to remove the wrong ideas and weaker part of the preparation. v During solving question it would be right decision to solve the easy questions firstly and then after solve the rest question which will take time and complicated in nature. Above all the time management is the key to success in this level of competitive examination.
