January 13, 2012 Dear friends, In February 2012 the Ontario PC party will elect a new executive.

This represents an enormous opportunity for us as we build capacity and momentum for the next election, whenever that may be. That is why we are writing to ask that you consider supporting Larry Malloy, who is running for the position of Regional Vice-President (Eastern Ontario). Larry has been a member of our party for forty years and has spent his career in both the public and private sectors. He has worked on countless election campaigns at all levels - municipal, provincial and federal - in addition to serving as an EA to Claude Bennett, the last Progressive Conservative MPP for Ottawa South, and as chief of staff to the Hon. David Emerson, former Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Trade. He understands the organizational needs of riding associations, knows the value of grassroots input into the policy development process, has a track record of mobilizing volunteers and raising money, and, most important, has the time, energy and commitment to dedicate to ensuring that our ridings in eastern Ontario have what they need to be successful in the next election. The party executive has a crucial role to play in preparing the Ontario PC party for the next election. The position of Regional VP (Eastern Ontario) will play a vital role in those preparations, acting as a voice for the grassroots needs and interests of riding associations across Eastern Ontario, from Ottawa to Barrys Bay; Kingston to Moose Creek. If as a party, we are to be successful in electing Tim Hudak as the next Premier of Ontario, supported by a strong contingent of MPPs from eastern Ontario we need someone with Larry Malloys experience and commitment as our voice with the party.
