Before the Sun Sets Tomorrow

Chapter 1
Today is a day about celebration, victory, and accomplishment. Alic is now, starting today, a high school graduate. He has been pushing, and pushing his whole life, to get that scholarship for his college football career, at Penn State. He wanted that scholarship so he could get out of the Hamptons for the reasons of being in this rich people town his whole life. Living amongst people who dont care if they have to pay a hundred dollars for a small turkey sandwich. Make his father proud, and not have to work at his Dads company was all Alic could think about. His father has been proud of his son his whole life, but Alic thinks he doesnt care. Alic thinks all he cares about is his company. The thing that makes Amanda so proud of her kind, and reliable brother, is that he got a full, four year, scholarship to Pennsylvania State University. As she watched him walk down the long, purple carpet up to the graduate stage, she shed a tear for every second that he took to that next step in his life. And every tear she shed fell down on her tan, but rosy cheeks and fell on to the soft, green grass. As they fell one by one, the amount of tears increased two by two. He then started walking up the five stairs on to the graduate stage one step at a time. Their headmaster then lifted up a rustic looking paper, rolled up, and tied with a thick, grey, and dark purple ribbon. Then handed it to Alic. Alic then turned around and winked in Amandas direction, but then she noticed her mom wink back. Its now about two oclock and the graduation ceremony for the class of 2011, from Ocean View Academy has just ended. Alic is now walking towards his family, and with a girl. Alic is the closest person in Amandas family that she can relate to. Alic is the one person she knows she can trust, and the only one she can talk to for hours. Alic kept walking closer and closer until he was standing right next to his family. Then Amanda opened her arms quickly and jumped up and wrapped them around his thin waist while with the other hand, she gave him a long, and painful rub on his Blond head. I am now an adult, and the other thing is I was wondering if I may ask you for a small favor. Fine, anything. As long as I dont have to give you a graduation gift! This will be your gift to me! Alic, what is it? Can I live in your own tree house. I will rent it from you! I will give you two fifty a month. And I will make a drive way up their. and put in a stair case, and I will pay with my own money and make a garage. I dont know about that. I will make it three hundred even, and I will let you redesign it for my taste.

 We have a deal Alic came near me just around the time he said his last few words, and wrapped his large, buff arms around my small waist and squeezed. He turned around and gave me a look that meant everything he felt. Amanda I owe you I know you do Alic. But thats why I love you bro. Amanda said.

Chapter 2

I just pulled up the long winding road, covered from the top down, by trees with leaves the color of a normal sunset heading towards the large tree house my father and I built. I got to the top and I seen Alic and his girlfriends car. The truck was a dark shade of red, it was one of those newer models. Where voice activation is everything. I walked passed the car and walked closer to the tree house. I noticed Alic was outside building a staircase for him to walk up instead of the large, thick rope ladder. Alic, have you been working out lately I said. Amanda, shut up and let me work. Brittany wants you to help her with the painting in our bedroom. Okay, you now owe me twice. Fine! Alic had just started to weld the stair case to the tree house. He finally got it ready and turned around and pointed his long chubby finger, and gave me the signal to go up the stairs and test it out. So I walked. I got up step by step then finally reached the top. I turned around and yelled Its fine Alic I said. I then walked through the front door and into the living room. Hello, Brittany, are you here? Yes, Im in the kitchen. Brittany answered. So I walked. I went through the living room, and into the kitchen. I seen she changed almost everything. When my dad and I made this tree house their was dark, cherry oak cabinets, with stainless steal appliances, and a window on each side of the stove that over looked the garage they were about to build for Alic truck. Then the living room was a dark teal color, with brown polka dots randomly spread across the walls. The couch was on the back wall right in front of the door. It was a dark tan, that could seat three to

four people. Then to the right of the couch is a a set of stairs that leads up to the bedroom. In the bedroom there was a king sized bed, that was seated to the right, next to the stairs. On the bed was a teal bedspread, with dark brown lilies flowing up from the bottom, and stopping around the top middle. Then on the farthest side of the be was a large side table made of dark wood. Then sitting on top of it was a reasonable sized green lamp. At the end of the bed, on the floor, was a light teal rug. Straight across from the end of the bed was a door heading into the bathroom. Then their was a small closet to the left of the stairs on a different wall then the bed. The second last thing in that room was a large six drawer dresser on the left side of the closet. Then their was a large window above the top end of the bed that over looked the neighborhood, and had an amazing view of the ocean. Brittany I said Alic said you wanted to see me, is there anything you wanted. Yeah I have no clue what i want to paint all these walls! Why do you even have to change them in the first place Brittany. They look better the way they are. Im sorry if I offended you, its just I think these colors are too childish for our new college taste. Brittany paused then quenched her nose as she snickered. Brittany, for your information. I just repainted these walls this year. And second of all Im only one year younger than you. Im sorry Amanda but you have terrible taste! Amandas body then felt like taking a strong thrust forward, and hitting Alics girlfriends face. Amanda instantly felt like she had experienced getting ran over by thirty-six elephants, and then have a guy come and keep hitting you with a Mountain Dew bottle. When Amanda brought her hand back to strike Brittanys face. Alic rushed in and grabbed Amanda and pulled her to the side for a little talk. Amanda! Alic said If you hit Brittany I will never see you again and thats a promise. Why, Alic? I said. Why are you sticking up for her? She isnt worth it, I am your sister! Brittany has been evil to me this whole time and you choose your girlfriend over your sister. How could you do this to me? Lets go Alic! Brittany said with a large witty smile. Brittany I wont leave, but you can stay. UNBELIEVABLE! Amanda screamed. Amanda ran out the door and jogged down the stairs to her car. When she reached to her left side, slowly, but strong. She pulled open her door, and lifted both of her legs in and slammed the door shut. She then sat

there for about ten minutes crying, and letting her tear run down her face so she could show the world the pain Brittany caused her, and let out the emotions she has been dying to burst out. She started the engine, and started driving down the road slowly, so she could absorb everything that was happening around her. She then looked up at the trees and had an instant flash back.

The trees were surrounding her dad and her. With the leaves just starting to bloom. The trees had a slight breeze that blew in between them, while a quiet whistle blew through, as the wind blew around everywhere else. Amanda and her father were carrying wood around, and lifting many things. They were building the tree house. Her dad then stepped up on the ladder and climbed to the top where he started to pound the small, iron figure into the wood. Amanda you now have yourself a new and improved tree house, that is everything you wanted, or could ever dream of! Amandas father said. Daddy, I love you, The seven year old Amanda said Every time I come here I will think of you and what you did for me! Amanda then started hugging her father and smiling the largest smile that she could ever smile. If anyone tries to ruin what you did for me, I will not stand for more than a second before I teach them not to mess with us! I love you Daddy and I want to let you know how much you mean to me. I will bring all my toys here, and I will make this my castle! Amanda said. Im overjoyed that you like it Amanda her dad said. Amanda then started to scream out, Dad I dont like it, I love it!

Amandas eyes started to zone out from the flash back, and her vision started to flash random colors. Everything seemed so blurry and foggy in her ocean view, like, eyes.

Chapter 3

Amanda turned her ignition keys and let the engine begin to heat up, and the slowly backed out of the small parking spot that sat in front of her tree house. She kept driving until she finally came to the end of the road. Amanda started to think that the flashback must have been very short in real time because she was still driving. Amanda then looked both ways of the street, and pressed the button to signal her right blinker. Then she drove, on and on until she finally got to her private road. She pulled up in her brand, new car and she stopped next to the small, white, speaker box. She turned her body to the left as her face turned left as well. The speaker box is the microphone that is connected to the gate room in our mansion, that lets people onto the road, and through the large, black steal gate. On the gate is a Large, teal cursive T. Who is requesting permission? The man in the gate patrol room said in a soft, but firm voice. Angus, its Amanda Lynn Thorn, daughter to Aaron, and Alyssa Thorn, and sister to Alic James Thorn. She then restarted her cold blooded car. Permission granted. Welcome home Amanda! Angus said. Amanda lightly pressed on the gas pedal and slowly drove through the set of slightly smaller trees leading up to our mansion. As I got to the end Amanda looked at her large, Victorian styled, home. She then noticed that her mother finally got the plumber, and the florist to come today to fix the large gray, marble stoned, fountain, and garden around. The fountain and smallest garden in our house is locate in the middle of the round about. Amanda then pulled up to her front door and shut off the car. She then lightly opened the car door and lifted one leg after another, and placed them on the pavement beneath her yellow, mustang convertible. She then stood up and handed the keys over to the valet guy, Kenny, who then took her car and drove it out to the eighteen car garage out back by the oak trees, across from the court yard, and Alyssas garden. Amanda walked up to her large front door and the other usher then opened the door until Amanda had been inside the house. Amanda hadnt even took three steps into the House before Alyssa, Amandas mother, then openly greet her at the door and told her she had someone waiting in the back for her to meet. Amanda then went upstairs to her room, and walked to the far side of her bedroom where she had sliding glass doors that opened up to her deck that over looked the court yard, and her mothers garden. She then tried to focus on where her mother usually has her morning or after noon brunches at, in the tall, white, marble stoned, pavilion. She noticed that Nathan was walking into the Pavilion. She then ran out her bedroom door, down the hallway, past her brothers room and her brother and hers snack closet, and down the many stairs, and out through the back door to the court yard where the pavilion had been sitting. She then started to walk so she wouldnt seem to much like a stalker. She then approached the pavilion and started to try to make a conversation. Then Nathan started to interrupt Amanda.

 Amanda would you like to go to Alexanders tomorrow for dinner with me? Nathan said hoping to hear a yes back. Of course, Amanda said in a calm tone What time do you want me to meet you there? Amanda I meant it as a date, which means I will pick you up at eight. Still, of course I will! Amanda said still surprised. Nathan then started to grin more and more as he walked towards the house. Amanda waited until Nathan would have not been able to see her. Then she started to jump, scream and run everywhere as if she was the only one alive. Amanda ran towards the house in a fast running motion. She then ran up the forty-five steps to the second floor of the mansion where her bedroom was. Amanda kept running, and running until finally she could see her bedroom door. When she approached the dark, cherry oak door, she started to slow down. She then pushed her arm on to the door handle and gripped it tightly, and turned it slowly. She then pushed the door open, slowly. Once she could see her bed she ran, and took one, long, and hard pushing jump and landed on the bed with a hard thump. Amanda then started flailing her arms everywhere. She was so excited she almost peed a little into her new Victoria Secret undies she had got a week ago. Just thinking of her new exciting thing she had going with Nathan made her want to dream of him for every second she wanted to see him. Amanda then took about six steps then opened up her sliding glass doors and walked out on to her over view deck, that looked over the back garden. It also looked over the new pool her father had built about a month ago. She walked out and sat down under the large, lime green umbrella, and sat in her new, teal, round, fuzzy chair. Amanda looked at everything she had to offer the world and remembered when she was young, how her father and her use to go down to the orphanage and serve soup to the kids. She remembered how much she loved helping those kids. She loved when the kids started to eat, and they loved the taste of the soup that her cooks made. She loved to look at the cute smiles they had on their small faces knowing that her father and her would always be there to help them. There was once one small, blond haired little girl that ran up to Amanda and swung her arms around her, and thanked her about twenty times for coming, and helping them. She said that when she grew up she wanted to be just like her. Amanda kept thinking of that little girl, and she couldnt help but smile. Amanda tried to stand up and steady herself. She suddenly found herself standing at the end of her bed. She glanced one last time at the garden her mother had been trying to perfect for years, and studied its beauty. Then she walked over to her full brown bedding, with white lilies rolling up from the bottom left corner, and fell flat on her face into the bed. Alyssa walked slowly into the room and started to ask herself why, or what was Amanda doing? Dear, what are you doing? Alyssa started to walk closer

 My life doesnt mean anything. I cant figure out what my life is supposed to give to the world, or why god made me me? Amanda yelled. You came to this world to figure all that out, you came to this world to find yourself, and to use your resources to figure out a way to give them to the world! I love you Amanda, and you are here because we wanted you here, now its your choice with what you want to make of yourself, and what you find yourself to be! Alyssa explains. Thanks Mom, I will think about what you said and I will think about what I want to do with my life. Alyssa started to finally walk closer and closer until she reached the bed. She then started to slide her hand though Amandas hair. Thats all I hoped for honey! I came up to tell you I got you some Alaskan Cod, from Alexanders for lunch if you want it. Its down stairs, Ariel is heating it up for you. Amanda walked down the steps and through the doorway to the left of the door. She walked down through the long brown painted hallway leading to the family kitchen to the right, The maids kitchen to the left and straight ahead is the Dining room and then there is a glass door on the right of the dinning room that leads to the hall way going to the Guest suites. She stopped in the dinning room and walked to the left wall where the bar was sitting. She walked up and sat on the dark, cherry oak wood stools. She sat on the third one from the right.Then she heard the foot steps of the youngest maid, Ariel. Ariel had just started working their a week ago. Amanda thought she was very friendly. Ariel walked behind the bar, and set the plate of cod on the counter. What may I get you for a drink, Amanda. Ariel asked. A Kitty cocktail? Amanda asked. Okay, I will be right out. Amanda watched as Ariel walked out of the dining room, and turned the corner in to the kitchen. Then Amanda ran around the bar and by the liquor cabinet, she pulled out the mini fridge from the wall and grabbed one hundred dollars from the money hole. The money hole is where Amandas mom keeps her extra money. Amanda grabbed the money, pushed in the mini fridge, and ran back around to the stool she was sitting in before. Ariel then walked out of the kitchen and peeled around the corner and into the dining room. Ariel handed Amanda the kitty cocktail and walked back into the kitchen. Amanda then tried to slurp up the kitty cocktail, then she ran through the hallway and into the Foyer. She then jolted for the door. She got to the outside of her mansion, and asked the Valet man by the front door to bring her car to the front. She could hear the sound of the engine, and the sound of the tires picking up speed as it pulled around the corner. She heard the screech from when he pressed the brakes and stopped in front of the doors. Amanda then said Thanks,

and hopped in her car and pressed on the gas. She pulled around the round about and down the driveway, that lyes beneath the dark red, darkened yellow, and brushed orange leaves, as they fall from the trees slowly, and gracefully. She got to the gate and the man controlling the gate, opened it so she could pass through with her yellow, mustang. She got to the main road and she pulled out and took a right. She stayed on the road for about ten minutes until she got to the beach stepped out of the car and grabbed her teal, beach towel, then walked about six steps until her tan, tan feet hit the edge of the white colored sand. She got to the part of the beach where you where close enough that when you lay on your beach towel, and the waves hit the shore, you can feel the mist of the water fall in your body. She was at a place on the beach where she was about half way from her new mustang, and about half way from the clear, sky blue, ocean water. Amanda set her towel down and walked towards the water, she stood at the point where the waves rolled up and you could feel the water, slowly roll up and and slide under, over, and beside your feet. She ran into the water far enough she could take a dive in, and look at what had been lying below the top layer of the water. She opened her brown eyes and seen one lonely fish, with blue, slimy scales surrounding its body, and only had one side fin and the back fin had been perfectly the way it was supposed to be. She took one short look at the small, four inch, fish and it started to shake, as if the world had closed in around him. The fish started to shake quiver. Amanda took a last look at the small tiny fish, and all that could come to mind was NEMO. Also known as the fish that was captured and his father went through everything to try to save him. Amanda felt bad for the fish with no, left fin, and all alone but she was running out of breath. She quickly swam to the top of the water. She took a quick, but deep breath and flipped her head downward and let her head dive in to the water released barrier. She got to the place she seen the small fish only seconds ago, but it left. No one could have taken it because their was no one else on the beach so it must have swam on its own in those few short seconds. She then swam to the top and out of the water. She swam closer and closer to the shore. Once she got close enough she could feel their feet and hands drag across the white sanded ocean floor. She finally let her head burst out from the ocean waters and pulled her feet in front of her shoulders and let the hard pushing waves pull her body above her feet, and give her that push to walk towards her towel. She walked those few steps to her towel. She picked up her teal towel, and ran towards her car, then hopped in.

Chapter 4
She started her engine and put the gear into reverse and, the switched it and drove back out the road and headed towards the main drag. She then went back to her mansion. She came up upon the gate, and buzzed in. The gate opened and she let the trees surround her. The pulled in and around the round about and took a step out of the car and gave the keys to the Valet man. She then ran up the stairs before Amanda! Come back down here! Alyssa yelled

Amanda rushed back down the stairs and looked back at her mom. I need you opinion on our new, but old employee! Alyssa explained. Okay mom, but I need to get ready for my date with Nathan! Amanda followed her mom into the back room. Her mother opened the doors. Amanda took a quick look then yelled back. Hes fine mom! Amanda got half way up the stairs before she started to think that guy, her mother showed her, looked to familiar. She then ran back and opened the doors one last time, and took one long glance at at the man. DAD! Amanda yelled Amanda Im sorry it took me so long to come home! I dont care as long as your here with us now! Dad, Im sorry because I have a date with Nathan in an hour so I need to get ready. Okay, go run and get ready. Amanda ran up to her dad, she grabbed both arms and swung them, so they would grab his back. She hugged him for about two minutes. Then she ran back up the stairs. But before she could get to the top, she turned and looked at Alyssa, and Aaron. I love you two, so much! Amanda then ran up the rest of the stairs, and ran to her large bedroom door,and walked through to the other side. She got in her room and walked to her walk in closet. Then started to raid her closet. She started with her movie premiere dresses. She came across her dark red dress, that has a large, but thick black belt rapped around her waist. The top looks like to flower pedals wrapped around then tied. She went behind her dressing, shade and slide the dress up from her feet, then tied the top strings tightly. She then walked up by her door and shut it tightly so she could see the large full sized mirror hanging on the back of the door. She got about see able distance, and looked at her self and decided it was perfect. She loved it because it showed her curves, her hips, and she filled it out perfectly. She looked at on that was purple, and another one that was brown with a lot of sparkles. She looked at almost seventeen more out fits, before she finally realized that she likes the first one the most. Amanda slipped the dress on slowly, and found a nice long, dress like coat to go with the dress. Then walked out her door and down the stairs. She walked to the back room straight across from the main

door, and walked over by the large, tan, white stone fireplace. She seen her mother and father were enjoying their time together, while it lasted. Mother, what time is it, Amanda asked. I think its around seven fifty, Alyssa explained. Mom, didnt you tell Alic yet? That what? Alyssa glanced over by Aaron trying to figure out what she meant by that. Did you tell Alic that Dad was back in town? Amanda explained for hopefully the last time. No, I forgot! Mom! Amanda bellowed out. Im sorry, dear. Ive been just to happy seeing your dad I forgot all about it. How could you? Alic cried almost every night before graduation because he knew dad wouldnt come because he knows how much more dads job is to him then us. Alic yelled the most the night of his graduation. Do you want to know why? Its because Alic hoped that dad would for once choose his kids over his job. Just once he hoped it would happen. The day that dad actually does come back you dont even the flipping decency to call him and tell him! I thought you were our mother. Amanda yelled. Im Alyssa started. Before she could finish he sentence. BEEP, BEEP, BEEP Nathan pulled up in his car, and Amanda decided she would run out of the house and hop into Nathans car instead of having to hear her mothers fake apology. Amanda just kept thinking about Nathan and what he would say about what happened. Amanda opened the door to the vehicle and stepped in and shut the door. He asked what had been wrong because her face looked like she had just cried at the Mississippi River. Amanda looked around before saying. Im fine, My dad got back today and my mom forgot to call Alic and tell him! Amanda explained. Oh my god, hasnt he been upset since like forever, because your dad has never shown up for anything that you guys do. Alic told me your dad has always chose his job over you two. Nathan explained.

 Yep, thats Daddy, Amanda bellowed. Nathan can we get out of here? Amanda asked. Nathan restarted the car and drove to the end of Thorn Drive, and then drove ten to sixteen blocks to Alexanders, then slowed down and turned into the parking lot. He pulled up to the Valet section then stepped out of the car, then walked around the car and opened up Amandas side door. Amanda stepped out of the car and instantly the valet man drove the car to the back. Amanda then wrapped her arm through Nathans and walked side by side with him into Alexanders. They walked up to the reservation podium. Whats your name? The man behind the podium asked. Jones and Thorn, Nathan whispered Nathan Nathan only whispered it so that no one in the restaurant would surround them and they would leave them alone. Oh my gosh, she is Amanda Thorn! The man behind the podium said loudly. Nathan grabbed a fifty dollar bill from his back pocket, and slid it into the mans hand. I would appreciate if you could Shut Up! Nathan explained to the tall and thin man. Okay I will take half off for the inconvenience. Thats right, you will do that. Nathan babbled. Amanda was watching the whole time. The only thing she could think about, or look at was Nathan. It was like the rest of the world was blurry, and Nathan was in Blue ray. She couldnt think about anything other than him. The way he smelt like expensive gum, and cologne. The way he walks when he is trying to impress Amanda. But most of all the way he cant take his eyes off of her. She loves his Dark brown hair, with three curls only in his bangs, and his milk chocolate looking eyes. The man lead them to a table on a balcony looking over the clear, blue ocean waters. While Amanda was walking through the restaurant she notice they started to dim the lights, and then lit all of the candles. Nathan ran up by the table and pulled the chair out so Amanda could sit down. When Amanda let her bum hit the dark, wood chair, Nathan pushed in the chair and walked to the other side and sat in his chair. The waiter came with our glasses of water, except thy were in the tall, thing, wine glasses. He also brought our large black, menus. Todays Buffet had seasoned cod, deep fat fried cod, salmon, baked potato, salad bar, coleslaw, and much, much more. The buffet table was about from a few feet from our balcony, to the other end of the room which was ten tables down, and two of the tables are fit six people. Amanda what are you thinking about getting. Nathan questioned

 Im thinking about getting either she paused but not for dramatic effect. The roasted duck, the sirloin with baked potato, or the buffet. Amanda finally answered. Im thinking about the sirloin, or the buffet. And maybe for desert the three layered chocolate melt. Nathan then looked around for a waiter. He noticed their had been one coming are way but they were in the distance. Nathan was scared about bringing up a weird conversation, and then she wouldnt like him anymore. He knew he liked her a lot so he didnt want to mess things up for their young romance. While Amanda was nervous on the other end. Her face began to turn a pinkish shade, while she thought about him leaning in for a kiss. She finally seen the waiter about seven steps away from the small, two person table she had been sitting at. Are you ready? The waitress asked. I think Im ready what about you Amanda? Nathan questioned. Im ready, I would like Im sorry first what would you like for a drink? the waitress busted in. I would like a Strawberry flavored, sparkling mineral water. With only two ice cubes. And could I have one of those blue, mini umbrellas. Amanda asked Sure, how may I help you sir? She asked for the second time. I will have a bottle of naked wine. Thanks! I will be right back with those. The waitress walked back to the bar. And got their drinks, and another table. She then went to take many more orders. Nathan glanced at Amanda then looked at the ocean. Amanda whats the best memory you have at the ocean. Nathan asked. When I was five.. Amanda started My family and I went to one of our cabins. Its in the outskirts of the New York area. We went to the beach and my brother and I were playing in the water and this kid, came over by us and started to push me farther out towards the larger currents. He tried to drowned me so I started to scream. My father and my six year old brother came out and Alic started to drag the kid to the shore. While my father dived into the water, and lifted me out and carried me to shore. Finally I realized where I was and I noticed that Alic punched the kid three times. One in the stomach and one in the leg, and the last time in the jaw. The kid ran over to his blue and sliver colored bike and hopped on his bike and went home. Then my dad came by me and said to keep my mouth pointed towards the ground so the water could

try to drain out. He said that I would be fine and then I jumped up and hugged him. Amandas face started to drown into the feelings she once had. I am so sorry that that happened to you, and as I understand it your life hasnt got that much better. Nathan simplified. The reason that is my best memory is not because that kid tried to kill me, but because of the way my dad, and Alic tried to save me. Yeah, my life kinda feels unbalanced I guess. But lets focus on the things that deserve to be told. Amanda said. Okay, Whats your best memory at the ocean. Amanda questioned him. She noticed he looked hesitant to answer, but he wasnt afraid. That will be when you and me walk on the beach and hold hands for the first time. Why cant that be now? Amanda smirked. Okay, lets go! Nathan said. Amanda and Nathan immediately held hands and ran out the door of the restaurant leaving a hundred dollar bill to cover the meal. They started to laugh more and more as they got closer to the water. They finally got to a spot on the sand where the water would only wash up high enough so the water would lightly flow on to the feet as it lightly brushes their newly tanned skin. Amandas stomach started to grumble as she watched the fish excitedly jump out of the cold, but clear blue ocean waters. Amanda are you that hungry. Nathan asked. Ill be fine! Amanda pushed her body to lean in to his as sh felt his lips hit hers. As their mouths moved she felt like the world new they should be together. As they started to pull apart they locked their soft hands together and ran across the beach. Running towards the large ocean bridge that stood by steal bars so much higher then their heads.They instantly kicked off their shoes. As they ran closer and closer to the bridge. Nathan, what are we doing? Amanda asked wondering how this all happened so fast.. I dont know! But to me this feels right. It feels like I knew this happened for a reason. Me too, I just cant do it this way. I want a long relationship, I want long walks on the beach, I want my hand to brush through your hair as we kiss while watching the sunset. I want us to be a.. Before Amanda could finish her sentence Nathan leaned in and kissed her so silent, but it meant so much.

 That was a nice way to tell a girl to shut up! Amanda said amusingly. I wasnt telling you to shut up I was telling you I agree with everything that you said, I want everything you want, and the other thing I want.. Nathan said while wrapping his arms around Amandas waist and pulling her in closer. Is for you and me to be serious, to be everything you have ever dreamed. Nathan finished. I like you a lot, trust me I do, I want us to go slower. And I am going to tell my parents because I hate keeping things from my dad, or my mom. Amanda if thats what you want to do I will be with you every step of the way. Nathan said.

Chapter 5

Amanda and Nathan ran up the sand filled hill and over to the parking lot. Nathan ran around to Amandas side and opened up the door. Amanda stepped in and sat down. Nathan then shut the door silently and ran quickly, to the drivers seat and got in, and sat down. They pulled out of the parking lot and headed for Amandas house. But before they could get there they had to stop at a stop light. Nathan I am scared to tell them! Amanda if you dont want to tell them its okay, if you want to tell them thats okay to. I dont care as long as thats what you decide, and want to do. Nathan answered. Thanks, Nate! Amanda said. Nathan quickly noticed the light had suddenly turned green so he headed for the Thorn Mansion. They pulled up to the speakers box. The man controlling the gate said. Hello, how may I help you. Do you have an invite, or pass key? Stewart its Amanda let me in! Im sorry miss Thorn I can not let you in with out scanning your key. The man said slowly. Fine Amanda roared from the top of her lungs.

Amanda then stopped to look through her purse she noticed that she left the card on her makeup desk up stairs when she left to go on her date with Nathan. Stewart, I dont have it but I can say my password! That will do, but it must be he full one, and say it slowly! Stewart said astonished that she even remembered the password. Amanda Lee Elizabeth Thorn she took a deep breath as she began to spell it out A.M.A.N.D.A L.E.E T.H.O.R.N Amanda yelled. Access granted Stewart repeated. Nathan drove pass the gate and up to the house along the long road covered by Autumn colored leaves. They got to the round about and Amanda and Nathan noticed that her mother, and fathers cars werent in there parking spot out back. She also noticed that there was another car there, a car she has never seen parked at her house before. Nathan was still pulling up to the large front door when Amanda opened the door in a flash and jumped out of the fast moving car. Her feet hit the ground hard. She then opened the front door and ran to the back room. She looked around and didnt see anyone. She ran out from the back room and up the stairs to all the bedrooms. They were all vacant. She then rushed down the steps, trying not to trip, then ran across the long hallway leading to the kitchen and seen Alic sitting at the bar, with her mother Alyssa, and her father Aaron standing behind it. Amanda could see that the way Alics head was bowed down, that something happened in the past two hours. Her parents were holding Alics head murmuring words that looked like they were trying to cheer up there little boy, like he was seven again and he wrecked his bike but they wanted him to try again. Alic you will be fine, you dont need her! Amanda heard from her mother. Amanda then ran across the room and over to the bar. She looked at Alic and then down to the hard surface of the bar. She noticed that there had been a small puddle like spot of the surface, as if Alic had been crying non-stop for those two hours she had been out. Alic what happened? Amanda said totally concerned about what might have happened. Brittany left me. She stole two thousand dollars out of the floor safe dad put at the bottom of your tree house and took off! She left a note saying she never wanted to hurt me! Alic said with more teas running down his now red, or cherry colored face from crying for the past two hours. She doesnt deserve you Alic. You are and amazing guy, and friend she is stupid to leave Amanda yelled. Alic, Aaron started Did you say Brittany only took two thousand dollars? Yes! There was only two thousand missing!

 What I dont understand is that there was two million that was hidden in there for when Amanda decided to expand, or repaint or get new furniture. So why didnt she take the whole two million instead of only taking two thousand? Aaron asked. Alic are you sure there was only two thousand missing! Alyssa questioned him while she raised her weird eye brow that Alic and Amanda both hated. Yeah under the first door under the mat there was only two thousand missing. Alic said. Because that was all that was put in that one. There is another safe under the fridge that has the rest of the money.! Aaron said The family then ran towards the door and pressed the valet button by the front door, the presses the number two button for truck number two. They then ran out of the door and suddenly the bright yellow four passenger truck pulled up. Aaron sat in the drivers seat and drove as fast as they could to the tree house. They finally go to the gate but they remembered you had to have your pass key to scan it so the doors would open. Alic do you have your pass key? Aaron yelled. No, I left it on the bar counter! Then hold on we are rounding the gate! Aaron yelled. No Dad Alic and Amanda screamed. Aaron drove up the side hill and knocked over a large tree and drove the unstable truck beyond the tree and over to the other side of the gate and up the hill. Aaron then stepped even deeper and harder on the gas pedal. Then suddenly the trucks speed gained another twenty numbers. Aaron is rounding corners,and drifting every once in awhile as he gets closer to the top of the hill. Aaron then drifted for the last time as he pulled up to the tree house parking lot. They all rushed out of the car and up the steps to the front door. As they reached the top six steps Aaron and Alic started to rummage through their deep jean pocket looking for a spare key to the tree house. Their pockets were both empty. Then Alic remembered something. Dad, I put an extra key on the under the second brick on the walkway to the steps. Amanda ran down the steps and found the key under the second rock from the beginning of the path. And ran back up the steps. He got to the door and shoved the small Hawaiian painted key. He then pushed, and shoved the door until it finally opened. They looked as they ran over to the kitchen. They pushed the refrigerator on the floor and checked the vault, lying beneath the floor under the fridge. There was no way she could have found the vault because there were no scratch marks on the floor as a sign she hadnt had took anything from the large, gold covered vault.

Chapter 6

They pulled the car up to the front door and hopped out of the car. They were only in the house for nearly three minutes when they heard a knocking on the door. As the Valet man opened the door, Amanda noticed the forty year old man looked familiar. Hey, Jared! Aaron yelled. Amanda looked at him one last time. She noticed his long, flippy white hairs. She noticed his brown eyes. Hi, Uncle Jared! Alic and Amanda yelled from the back room. They both ran and hugged him. Jared had been a close family friend since Aaron and Jared went to school together. Jared and Aaron then walked back to the family room, and sat by the large back window looking over to Alyssas garden. They shut the doors behind them. Aaron you have to leave tonight at 11:00. You are needed at the camp in Iraq you have a presentation for your new missile. Jared answered. Will I be back for Christmas ? Aaron smirked. No, its likely u wont be back till that next week Jared answered. That means I cant go to the cabin this year! I dont think i could do that to Amanda or Alic! You have no choice, If you dont go they wont make a deal. Theyre hoping to order six billion dollars worth of missiles. Jared said. Are you sure i cant change the date of the presentation until after Christmas? Im sure. We leave tonight! Jared finally finished his last few words as he started walking to the front door. He got about two steps from the door when Aaron yelled up from the back room. Thanks, for the notice Jared! Jared then took some steps out of the door and to the round about. He got in his new car and drove off. The winters around here dont get really cold, they get windy but not cold enough for snow. That is why the Thorn family goes to Minnesota. They wanted to give their kids as many cultures, and opportunities in life as

they could. Jared was one of those guys who is only rich because he knows rich people that give him jobs he has to learn to do because they are not even close enough to be qualified for that job. He is a very nice man. Aaron called his son, Alic. And his daughter,Amanda down to the family room. They both ran down the stairs, like a flame running up an oiled pole. They opened the doors to the family room together both Amanda and Alic. Then Amanda stayed and closed them tightly, and quietly. Kids i am afraid that i have some bad news! Aaron blurted out softly. Dad what is it Amanda started What is going on? I cant go to the Cabin for Christmas this year. I have a presentation for my new missile in Iraq. Aaron said. WHAT! Amanda and Alic screamed in unison. Dad how can you not come. We have been going there as a FAMILY, since Alic was three! Amanda yelled. I know honey. I love you two so much, and If I could, I would go to the cabin in an instant but u know I cant! Aaron explained. I guess we all see where your priorities lye. Dont we Dad! Amanda screamed. Amanda ran up to her room, and jumped onto her bed face first, as she cried just enough tears to fill a small pond. Amanda cried and cried. Then started packing for the cabin. Alyssa told Amanda this morning they were gonna leave on Saturday for the cabin. Amanda walked over to her closet and went to her panties drawer. She chose twelve pairs from the Italian Girl collection. She went up to the shirt bar. She took twelve from her French Girl collection and thirteen pairs of Hollister Jeans. She then looked for her two matching bikinis from her mothers new bikini collection. Amanda come say good bye to your father Alyssa screamed. No he doesnt need one. His bigger priority is to his job not his kids! Amanda yelled from up stairs in her room. Alyssa give it up Aaron told Alyssa. Aaron what if something happens to you, she needs to say goodbye Alyssa explained. I love you Aaron Alyssa said with a face of true love. Aaron and Alyssa leaned in with a smooch of a lifetime.

 I love you too Honey Aaron said as he walked out to meet his limo parked out front. As soon as Alyssa seen her loving husbands limo pull down the road she slipped off her heals and ran up the stairs to Amandas room. Amanda do you even care about your dad leaving? Alyssa yelled. Yes of course I care. But Dad, he doesnt care. He only cares about his money, and his business. he is never home the only time we ever got to really have a family weekend, or family bonding time was when we go to the cabin for Christmas. Amanda Explained I know he loves you Amanda Alyssa then walks over to Amandas bed and plops her small, butt on to the surface of the sheets He never told you, but everytime he couldnt go to one of your recitals, or sports games because he was away he would make me record them so he could watch them when he felt bad. He has a whole library down stairs of you and your brothers games, and other events we taped. He hates when he misses those things. If he misses them so much why didnt he just come to them? Amanda questioned. Lets put it like this. If he didnt work like he did you wouldnt be able to live where we do, have the clothes you do, or have the opportunities we gave you by him working how he does. He goes to work twenty-fourseven so that you and your brother can have what you need or desire. I never thought of that. Amanda said as her facial expressions dropped about two inches. Amanda walked over to the door as she shoved he mom out and down the stairs. She wanted to have sometime on her balcony, alone, just thinking. Thinking about how she would feel if something did happen to her father. Or how all those kids a lot less fortunate than her live with out both of their parents.

FOUR DAYS LATER SATURDAY, DECEMBER 19

Amanda lets go! Alyssa yelled from the front door. We have to leave Amanda, lets go! Alic yelled. Im coming, Im coming! Amanda screamed from the to of the stair case.

Amanda got to the last four steps before she signaled for help with her bags. Stewart came over and lifted them, an carried them out to their family limo. They all stepped in the black, long stretched car looking vehicle. They drove and drove and drove until finally they reached the road they were looking for. They approached the road leading up to their large cliff top cabin. The road was long and wrapped around the tall snow covered mountain. The cabin sat on top. The cabin is like their second home. They drove up the road until they reached the top where they could see the large, entirely made from wood, cabin. When you stepped into the inside of the cabin their was a small hallway. leading out to the kitchen then to the left of the kitchen there is a large wide open space with a small dinning table and all the way across the room to the left wall there is a living room and a large fireplace. across from the back wall. In the dining room to the right there was a small bathroom equip with a shower, sink, and toilet. And a small brown rug lying in the middle of the floor. the bathroom was hiddin behind the kitchen wall. Then on the back wall behind the dining table there was a large three dimensional window looking over the back yard. And looking over the large lake, and small mountains surrounding it. Then there are two medium sized bedrooms of to the left side of the dining room. Then when you come in the main entrance there is a large, wood case of stairs heading down stairs to the theatre, and the three lane bowling alley. Almost all of the furniture upstairs is all made out of wood, but then has thick padding on the top surface. Also on the side of the wall in the theatre room there is another fire place. As they pulled up to the large, open, paved road where they would usually park they stopped the car. Amanda and Alic ran up to the front door and looked for this dollar sized rock that they painted when they were six years old. They painted the rock when they were five on the patio off the side of the living area on the glass table. They painted them with their Dad so they could hide the extra key hidden inside of it. Alic and Amanda found the rock hidden in a set of rocks behind this bush. Amanda and Alic both grabbed the rock at the same time then turned their heads and looked straight up at each other and at the same time they both said EWE, JEEZ WHATS WRONG WITH YOU. Alic then grabbed the key from Amandas hand and opened the door. Amanda and Alic then ran back to their limo and grabbed the bags from the back of the car and set them against the kitchen cabinets nearest to the ground. Amanda walked to the living room and sat down on the large couch facing towards the patio, while watching The Nine Lives of Chloe King marathon on the large flat screen t.v hanging on the large tan, scattered stone fireplace in the living room. Amanda then ran to the first bedroom to the right and grabbed her Teal blue bikini. Then shut the door and slipped it on. Amanda then spent the next five minutes heating the hot tub on the patio and pulling the sheets off the top. She was just about to get in before Alic jumped in and splashes almost half of the water onto the floor of the patio. Alic what the fudge! Amanda yelled Sorry sis, I felt a little cold!

 Get out I need sometime to relax! What for Nathan bang you hard enough! No! We didnt even get there. We just kissed thats all! Okay, but if he does something that you dont want, I will find him an kick his donkey. Now thats official! Alic stepped out of the hot tub. Amanda took a small look back at him. She looked at him feeling a bit of relief but still feeling horrible for what Brittany did to him! Alic, you can stay here if you go get some swim trunks on! And we just talk. Fine, Ill be back master! Shut up Alic! Alic walked back to his room he share with Amanda and switched his jeans for swim trunks. Then looked in his bag for one of Amandas Christmas gifts he got her. He looked at the six thousand dollar diamond in crested necklace with a teal colored diamond, in the shape of a small A. He found the box and lifted it up and looked at its beauty as he realized everything Amanda has done for him this month. From the Brittany scandal, to just being there for him as a loving sister. Alic walked out to the patio and gave Amanda the small, teal covered box. The stepped in to the large maroon covered hot tub lying beneath the patio sitting on the ground, while its surface was beyond the floor of the patio. Alic, Whats this? Amanda, Im happy you have been there for me this whole time, and Im sorry I didnt realize it till now! Alic you never answered my question! As Amanda spoke out Alic realized how much he needed to be there for Amanda because he had felt everything she is going through with there family because he went through the same thing until he went off to college at Penn State. This is a necklace I had made for Christmas to give to you! I just thought you deserved it early. So after I got done changing I got the necklace out of my suit case and brought it out to give it to you! Alic said with an emotional attachment to that necklace and everything it meant in his eyes.

Chapter 7

The days went by fast and today was Christmas. Alic, Amanda, and Alyssa were wrapping all there presents for people in there different stations around the house so no one could see what there presents were! Amanda only had time to buy a few presents for everyone. Amanda heard the phone ring so she ran out to the kitchen and picked up the phone. Hello? Amanda answered. Hello, this is the FBI. I am sorry but I have bad news. Who is this? This is Amanda Thorn Amanda answered as her teeth began to quiver. I am sorry but your father was in an accident at his presentation. They were starting there final slide, or information points and someone set off a bomb. Who Else Died? Amanda started to shake. MOM! Amanda yelled to her mothers station down stairs. Amanda turned back to the person on the phone. Im sorry but only your father and his personal assistant Jared Krueger died. They went into another part of the tent to talk for a brief second when someone set off the bomb. Jared died fatally as he tried to block your father from the bomb. Your dad had minor injuries but died from a heart attack. The man implied. MOM! Amanda tried again. What dear, What? Alyssa answered as she walked up the steps heading for the kitchen phone. Dads dead! Amanda screamed. Amanda ran back onto the patio to try to finish her present wrapping. Before she could even resume what she was doing. Amanda collapsed at the thought of her father dieing how he did. The image of him blowing up, the image of Jared blocking the bombs heat from her father made he drop. Amanda hit the wood floor on the patio hard. Her head hit the surface as her eyes shut instantly at the sight of the floor. As her knees and arms caved in they seemed to try and block her from hitting the floor to hard. Amanda knew her father would never have wanted her to break down, and loose the thought that she still has something to live for, and that no matter what happened to him she would always have him and the rest of her family around her. Amanda stood up and looked at her mother, as she peered around the door edge in the wall. She could hear the mans voice, but very faintly from her mothers conversation with him. Amanda

listened to her moms voice as well trying to think about what they might be saying. Amanda heard something about holding it off. Amanda listened closely. You never told them? Amanda heard out of the mans voice. I didnt want to wreck his son, and daughters image of Christmas! Alyssa explained. Amanda ran back out of he patio room and over to the kitchen. Why didnt you tell me and Alic? Amanda yelled at her mother. I did it for your own good Alyssa began. She then took a short breathe. I didnt want to tell you because I knew you would hate Christmas! Mother I no longer hate Christmas I hate you! Before Amanda could go pack up her stuff Alic popped out from their bedroom. Did you know about Dad? Amanda yelled at Alic. No, what happened to him? Alic screamed back. Alic turned around and yelled the same thing back to his mother. Mom why dont you tell him. It will give you more practice when you finally tell Grandma, and Grandpa Thorne. Amanda, Shut Up! I did what I thought was best! Alyssa yelled. Dad is dead and you never told me? Amanda lets leave. Amanda and Alic ran into their shared bedroom. They packed up everything they could find that was theirs and ran out to the large limo that sat in their small parking lot out side. They told the driver their mom said they could leave and to just leave her she wanted to have some time alone on the boat before she came home. Six Hours later

Amanda and Alic finally got home and it all felt different knowing that their dad was never coming back. They decided to have a funeral for their dad. Amanda called the Garrity Funeral home and made a date for the funeral. She then tried to call the FBI, and her dads company, but no answer from the FBI.

 Hello, Mr.Thorn how may I help you? Oh didnt you hear? Amanda questioned Who is this? the dark, but deep voice answered. This is Amanda Thorn? Where is your father? He past away a few days ago at that presentation in Iraq. The Presentation was bombed. Jared Krueger and my father died that day. They were the only ones. Aw I am sorry for you loss. Are you thinking about a memorial service? Yes, actually that is what I was calling about? Has anyone claimed Jareds body? Amanda awnsered Let me see, it will be only a dew minutes. Okay, Amanda said worried, but excited. Amanda ran up to her bedroom as she through her bags, and luggage onto her bedroom floor. She waited for ten minutes before she finally got an answer. Hello, Amanda are you there? Im here? No one has claimed, Assistant Kruegers body! Then tell the FBI I claim it. He at least should have a memorial service. Amanda started After you call the FBI then call Garrity Funeral home and tell them they will also be hosting Jared Kruegers funeral too! Amanda then finished. Will that be all? Yes, Thank You! Amanda then heard foot steps creeping up from the bottom of the steps. Then suddenly she heard Alics voice. Amanda, guess what? I am now your guardian!

 Ha ha, thats not funny.

Chapter 8

The snow was heavy outside, and the wind was plentiful, but the feeling was still the same. Amanda and Alic now thought of the snow as love there father had sent down from the heavens. They they thought of the wind as his breathe when he was near. Even though they both thought that way it still felt like the day they heard the news that changed their life. Amanda and Alic went through the pain of a funeral. They already went though the pain of the awake. Now they are living together at Amandas tree house. They refinished the flooring and repainted the walls. She and Alic have been living there for about two years after the Funeral. Alyssa has been living at the Thorn Mansion for these past few years getting over Aarons death. Amanda and Nathan have been dating a lot since the bombing. Nathan had proposed to her at Alexanders. The same place they had there long moments if passion on the beach, and their first date.

Amanda and Alic have been thinking about there mother and everything she did for them and everything she wanted them to do with their life. Alic, I was wondering where did dad put his Will? Amanda questioned him. Alic walked out from the kitchen where he was making his own variation of stir fry. He noticed Amanda had been working on her novel project for Her Creative writing classes she had been taking at the University.

 Amanda I have no clue what happened to his will. He said he had made one after him and mom had both of us just in case one of his work trips, went wrong. Alic, then where did they go? I dont know! But I was thinking about something too! What bro? I think we should go see mom. Amanda nodded her face up and down saying she was thinking the same thing. They both walked towards the door, and grabbed there coats off the coat rack. Amanda grabbed the door handle and twisted it slightly to the right the pulled the door towards her. She could see the snow fall around her as she walked down the steps to the stone walk way. She remembers the day Nathan proposed to her at Alexanders under the lightly, snow falling upon there heads. She remembers it like it where yesterday.

They had taken the same table they took on there first date. They had just gt done ordering when Nathan reached in the inside pocket of his newly bought suit. He grabbed out the box that the four carrot, teal diamond ring had been hidden in. He then stepped off his seat and got down on one knee. Then lightly grabbed the ring from his pocket and set it on his hand in front of Amanda. He opened the box, and just at the sight of the ring Amanda was mesmerized. Nathan began with saying some words he had rehearsed for the past two weeks. Amanda I love you, your the one person I cant live without. You the one I would never want to hurt Your the one I could see my self growing old with and living in an old cabin by the tree house. I can see my self loving you until both our worlds end. Nathan stopped for just one second, then took a long stare into her gorgeous, Caribbean sea, blue eyes. Amanda Thorn, will you marry me? Amanda looked right back at him and said.

 Your the one I want to be with till my life ends! I love you! YES! Nathan and Amanda looked at each other while Amanda ran up to him and basically tackled him on the ground, trying to hug him to death. Nathan slowly grabbed the ring from the small brown box and slipped it on to her beautiful ring finger

Amanda re awoke from her small, loving, and beautiful memory. There was only a few days till the wedding. She needed to see her mother. Amanda and Alic walked to there black suburban in the parking lot outside the tree house. They jumped in and pulled down the road. Alic used some of his pay check money from taking his fathers job at Thorn Co. to buy a new gate in the middle of the long, road leading towards the tree house. Alic and Amanda had been driving for only a short while before they reached there family mansions, gate. All Amanda could think of was how she would feel when she seen her mother for the first time after her father past away. She pulled up to the brand new eye system Alyssa had installed a few weeks ago. Basically in this program the only way to get past the gate is to buzz in and say your name, and put your eye up to the scanner and let them check it to make sure that it is one of the family members. Amanda let her take her time until finally she was granted access. Amanda sat back in the passenger seat of the black, suburban and let Alic pull ahead while sat and looked at the lightly, falling snow his the pine needles, and the soft bark on the trees surrounding the side of the blackly, paved road. They got to the round about and pulled up to the front door and as she stepped out of the car and she handed the keys over to on of the new valet women. Thank You, the women answered after getting the keys from Amanda. Amanda and her brother headed to the back room looking for Alyssa. Mom are you in here? Amanda then heard a small creaking sound from the stairs. Her head quickly turns towards the stairs. She seen her mothers face as she came down the stairs. She noticed the excitement and surprise meant that Amanda and Alic finally came to talk to her after those few years they had been thinking about their fathers death. Amanda Alic How have you been these past two years? Alyssa questioned as her excitement grew larger and larger.

 Mom, we have been fine! We came to ask you a question. Anything just ask Alyssa answered quickly. Dad told Alic he made himself a will, but Alic and I over here have now clue where it is. We were wondering if Dad told you? Yes he did, he told me he put it in a box in our room. Its in the jewelry box he gave me our first date. Thanks mom! Amanda yelled as she began to run up the steps heading towards her parents suit. Before she could reach the top of the steps, Amanda turned and looked at her mother. Mom Me and Nathan are getting married this coming up Friday, We are getting married on the tall cliff looking over the ocean. At around 6:00. Amanda got to the top of the stairs and started to turn around again. Nathan and I would love if you could be there! Amanda answered. Nathan yelled back at Amanda asking where she was. Nathan just opened the door when Amanda came running in the bedroom door. They looked in their mothers walk in closet when they had found the will taped to the top of the jewelry box. They both walked back out of the large bedroom suit and down the stairs into the main door. Thanks, Mom! I will see you at the wedding Amanda. Ill be the girl in white! Amanda and Alic walked out to the Valet service. They had just got in the car when Amanda started to think, she started to think about the wedding and the one thing she had forgotten. She forgot about who she wanted walking her down the isle. Then the only person she could think of was the man that she had been with ever since the accident, Alic!

Chapter 9

Amanda loves the man that can make her smile, Amanda loves the man that would do anything to keep her life turning. Nathan was all that to her. He was he friend, he pal, and the thing that always kept her heart beating two beats ahead. This wedding, and marriage was everything to Amanda, and Nathan. Amanda was slipping on the wedding dress of her life while Nathan was in the tent on the other side of the altar. Amanda slipped on a dress she had been dreaming about for years. The dress had a heart shaped, lacy fabric over her upper chest, with a beautiful flowing vine, beaded design sown into the heart shaped piece on the upper part of the dress. There was a large, twelve inch sash that wrapped around from the back and both ends connected at there point with a half of a half circle iron belt that connected from the front under the top heart, piece. The sash was a darker, but a little faded teal. The bottom part of the dress was long, and flowed with a silky smooth fabric. From the iron piece connected by the two ends of the teal sash, is a large pattern of small, less than one cm, both as the width and length beads. The beads flow from the circle connecting piece to the bottom of the dress in a large sown, vine design. As the design gets closer to the bottom of the dress, the pattern gets expands out. As Amanda finally got the last finishing touches on her hair and dress done, her bridesmaids were slipping on theirs. Kaitlyn, Emily and Claire were slipping into there beautiful dresses as Amanda was getting their hair done. Kaitlyn knew Amanda because they took all of the same Creative Writing Classes at the University. Emily and Amanda knew each other by their parents. Emilys parents are Steve, and Eloise Chase. They own one of the few other companies around the world that come anywhere close to competeting with Thorn Co. and Steve went to school with Alyssa, and Eloise and Aaron went to school together too! Claire is just Claire. She doesnt have rich parents, or a nice car, or a huge company, or even famous parents. Her and Amanda have been best friends since kindergarten. They use to play dress up with swim suits, and play with their parents makeup. Amandas choice for bridesmaids dresses was definitely not limited. She has a billion dollar company, and billions of dollars in her parents bank account. And a mother who will do anything to make it up to her daughter and son. Amanda chose dresses that were exact matches to the original dress only that the the main, fabric for the dress was teal and not white, and the sash was white not teal. As all three of them decided on their finishing touches. Amanda remembered to wear something that had meant the world to her since she was six. The necklace of a life time. This was a locket. A locket that was simple but meant the world to her in only just million words. The locket was a small heart shaped, gold locket, with gods cross in teal on the front. And in the inside was two pictures. The picture to the right was a picture of Amanda and her father at the pond closest the mansion, and the other picture was on the left handed side of the opened locket. It was a picture of the four of them at Alics graduation. As everyone was getting seated, Nathan took his stand with his grooms man and best man next to him. His best man was supposed to be Alic but when their father died Alic took their Dads job in the wedding. The best man was Hunter Sheckler. Him and Nathan have been brothers for their whole lives. The other two grooms men were Nathans brothers Andrew, and Jacob. The tuxes were the basic black pants, and white

inside shirt with a black over coat. But the tie was entirely different from any wedding she had seen. The ties were teal with white stripes going diagonally on the front of the tie. See we told you it was different. Amanda thought of her father more and more as the music got closer and closer to the point where she would have to walk to the altar. The altar was actually outside, on the cliff which over looks the ocean. The sun was just about to fall down to a point that you couldnt see its beautiful reds, yellows and oranges shining out from the earth. Then the song hit a point where her world was about to get a lot better. She walked out of the tent and took about ten steps around the seats and onto the large, wide, white colored carpet leading to the arch way of white lilies right behind her loving soon to be husband. She stood there at the beginning of the carpet while Rachels daughter Sarah walked down the aisle in a dress covered in teal and brown polka dots, along with a two and a half inch wide ribbon tide across the center of the dress. Sarah kept walking down the aisle scattering white lily petals all along the carpet. As soon as Sarah reached the middle of the carpet Amanda began to walk with Alic at her side. Just before she took a step onto the white aisle the violinist began to play the wedding song. Amanda and Nathan stared into each others eyes more and more as Amanda got closer to holding hands with the man she loves. Amanda looked at the world around her and the possibilities she will have, and she knew her Dad was watching over her. Amanda got about three steps until reaching the altar and loved everything in front of her. She stepped up onto the short step podium. And look in the eyes of the man she loves. While he told them to repeat things over and over. Amanda looked out at her family, and friends that sat in those chairs. Like Rachel, and Emily Rose. Rachel is 28 and has a pair of twins, a girl Sarah and a son Jack. While Emily still lives with her parents. Emily how ever isnt in the crowd she is one of those lucky people who get to share this great day with Nathan and Amanda. Another pair in the audience is Angela, and Sam Strood. They are a set of identical twins, both with bright blond hair and brown eyes.. Both 5,6 and beautiful. Amanda looked back at her soon to be husband. Just as it was time for their vows. Amanda its your turn to say your vows. The pastor explained. Nathan your the man I love. We have known each other for a while now, and even though it hasnt been our whole lives it feels like it has. When our lips met at Alexanders.. Amanda responded with many tears. They werent tears you cry when scared or hurt. But they are small drops of water, mixed with joy, and and love Nathan and Amanda share. Before Amanda could finish her speech the manager of Alexanders stood up and yelled Oh yeah! Okay We are soul mates. I love you and you are the man I can see myself with in fifty years sitting on the front porch with me drinking hot cocoa, and watching our grand kids play in the snow together. I love for rich or for poor and sickness and in health. I love you Nathan. Your my prince charming, Amanda began to choke up, and more and more tears began to fall upon her face. Even when I was seven and I was putting a

pillow case above my head and pretending to get married, now I wish it was you. Your my prince, and Im your princess. I love you Nate. Amanda started to choke up Nathan your turn, to say your vows. The pastor repeats. Amanda youre the girl of my dreams. Your beautiful, smart, creative, and the best thing I can think of, Nathan paused and stared even deeper into Amandas dark brown eyes Passionate. Your the girl I have been dreaming about my whole life. Your my best friend, and my soon to be wife. I cant wait till I can spend a half an hour just looking at you smile in your sleep. I love you Amanda and the bond you and I have is sacred. But you youre my everything. I would give up anything to have a million more days together added to our future. I cant wait to start our life together. The only thing I have left to say is Amanda took a longer look at Nathan as he took a long deep breath before finishing his vows. I want us to be one, before the sun sets tomorrow.
