PROJECTS AND TRAININGS

Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics: Worked as a Research Intern from June2009-August 2009 and December2009-February2010 in the Plasma Physics Division and studied non-linear dynamics in Unijunction Transistor to show how such systems, if coupled together, mimic the relevant function of neuronal assemblies in the human bodies. Eastern Railways, Indian Railways: Worked as a student Intern on Optical Fiber Communication from June2010-September2010. The work involved optimization of techniques presently being used in India for communication among Railway station and Railway Regional offices.

Built Line Follower Robot, Humanoid Walking Robot, Obstacle Avoider Robot, Pick and Place Robot, Wireless boat and a costeffective water heater. Realized Cyclic Redundancy Check and found out ways for which this error detection scheme can also be used for error correction purposes in a communication system. Implemented 1-D time domain convolution on FPGA. Implemented the schematic and layout of a 4X1 6-T SRAM cell on Cadence spectre and virtuoso.
