Applying to Mason
y You must submit your completed online application before sending any
supporting documentation
y It is your responsibility to have the official transcripts for each
college/university you have attended sent to Mason. No matter how
many classes you took at a particular school, even if you withdrew from
all classes, they must have a transcript sent to them from each college
you have attended
y If you have completed fewer than 30 semester hours of college course
work at a regionally accredited U.S. college or university, you will be
required to submit your official high school transcript and your
SAT or ACT scores. Also, Mason will not give you the benefits of being
a Pathway applicant if you plan to enroll before earning your AA or AS
degree at NOVA.

Applying to Mason
y In the "Previous College" section of the online application,
you will need to provide information about each
college/university you have attended (school name,
address, dates attended, major, and degree (if applicable)).
Please make sure to list all colleges/universities you
previously attended. Failure to do so may delay the
processing of your application.
y The Office of Admissions prefers all applicants to apply
online. You may access the admission application 24 hours
a day
y The undergraduate application fee is $55 for online
applications. All application fees are non-refundable.
Pathway students who will receive an AA or AS degree at
NOVA before transferring will receive a FEE WAIVER!

This is a mandatory, non-refundable, one-time fee. The fee
is charged to the account of every newly admitted, degree-
seeking student at the time of registration, regardless of
orientation attendance or enrollment status. The new
student fee is $160.00.
