Qualification Highlights
Chaired the development of a successful five-year business transition plan for a global computer manufacturing company with the primary focuses on business unit capacity planning, international product transfer mix/costs, local and geo-targeted production expertise and currency fluctuations. Negotiated domestic and international supply chain contracts, OEM hardware agreements and strategic partnerships with Sony, Hitachi, Pioneer, Phillips, Pitney-Bowes, EloGraphics, IBM, Compaq, Intel, Arrow Electronics and Avnet Electronics, thereby saving $150+ million in asset exposure and product obsolescence. Managed operations planning and control of an emerging CBT (computer based training) enterprise that grew from zero to $30 million in revenue in 4 years and from 5 to 375 employees in the same timeframe. As a program manager for contract manufacturing companies, I achieved the following: o o o o Manage customer accounts generating $160M in annual business against total company revenues of $250M Managed NPI processes for Harris Microwave and Zoll Medical products engaging vendors and customers on 3 continents in 5 countries. Managed the quotation process, order administration and sales order review practices to insure flawless order processing, positive customer engagement, accurate program specifics, timely customer delivery and high quality product. Managed inventory investment, increased turns from 6 to 13 annually, eliminated obsolete inventory exposure by managing the timing of customer product modifications.

Managed the Operations Planning and Inventory Control functions of a computer manufacturing company with four plants, over 1 million part numbers and 2,000 engineering changes annually across 25+ product lines. (saved over $69 million first year) I am a technically savvy Information Technology user, who installed several enterprise-wide ERP/MRP systems including: Honeywell HMS, ASK Manman/Serviceman, Software Systems BPICS and a homegrown (FIFO/ Revision specific) inventory control system as well as, a homegrown sales order administration system (SOBAS) within a multi-plant operation.
