GOROS & CIA LIST - The Unesco WHS RANKING LIST

1 The name of the list is: "GOROS & CIA List" - The UNESCO WHS Ranking List -. 2 We would like to invite everybody (all UNESCO postcards collectors) to be in, so people (everybody who wants) can take part. Spread it. 3 The aim of this list is NOT the competition by itself. The aim is that we all can put the collections all together. The aim is we can share the information The aim is we can meet new people, new collectors, new traders The aim is we can make new good trades The aim is to help one to another and eachother The aim is knowing the most difficult places to get postcards from The aim is to improve our collections, for sure 4 We would like this list to be a reference for all Unesco postcards collectors in all over the world... 5 Iigo Cia will be the person who manage it (administrator of the list), collects the statistics from every participant and send them back the ranking l 6 Werner Goros will help Iigo when he can't or in other particular circustances. 7 The first list we would like to be made within January 2006, so people have to send their statistics before New Year's Eve. 8 The list will be updated every 3 months (January, April, July, October). If you don't want to send your statistics updates, you are not obligated to do it. Your old statistic will be hold on. 9 This is the excel file being sending to all participants so they could fill their statistics in there (all same format). This file would be available in the group files section: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/UNESCO_SITE_POSTCARDS/files/ If somebody cannot use excel files, we will see how to manage each particular case. If somebody has not the time to fill in the excel file, he/she can send its own file and I will made the job of translating into the excel. 10 There will be 6 categories: Category A: TOTAL NUMBER OF WHSites in the collection (/ 830) Category B: TOTAL NUMBER OF UNESCO POSTCARDS in the collection Category C: TOTAL NUMBER OF UNESCO COUNTRIES (/ 139) Category D: TOTAL UNESCO WHSites VISITED (/ 830) Category E: Person who most improved his/her collection (#WHSites) - Based on Cat.A Category F: Person who most improved his/her collection (# Unesco PCs) - Based on Cat.B 11 People can choose which categories being in and which not, as I undestand it is hard to count the total number of unesco postcards in some case You can decide to participate only in category A and C, for example. Later you will be able to add yourself to new categories 12 Instructions to fill in the statistics file: Category A: You will enter Y when you have at least one postcard for this WHSite. Otherwise, empty. Category B: Enter the number of postcards you have from this WHSite. Category C: Enter Y or N ONLY in the RED brackets: Y is you have at least one UNESCO postcard from that country. Otherwise, N Category D: Enter Y if you have ever been at this WHSite (if you visited). Otherwise, empty. 13 Only the participants will get the personal statistics excel file, although the ranking list will be public in the group for everybody. This is because I w 14 Use the arrows to move through the statistics, up/down and right/left. 15 One common AIM: To decrease the list of Most Wanted WHSites (nobody has postcards from).
