W drill dont break on your toes but on your in-step (big toe) Drills using Two Lines 1. Backpedal and drive to the post 2. Backpedal, drive to the post, and then speed turn 3. Backpedal, drive to the post, and drop step *When breaking (turning and running) he tells the players to Steal 2nd Base Bump technique 1) Purpose this is a tight coverage technique used at the goalie or in the field to take away the quick passing game and a good change-up technique 2) Method y Open field tackle y Pursuit tackle y Shed tackle y Angle tackle y One on one Get the best 25 players on the field At LSU, Corey Webster was a WR who wasnt starting but was in the top 25 players on the team. So, to get him on the field the coaches moved him to CB. He was reluctant about the move at first but had good ball skills and was able to tackle. After 2 years of playing WR at LSU and 2 years of playing CB at LSU (one year he was voted All-American), Corey was drafted by the New York Giants and now has a Super Bowl ring to show for it. If he remained a WR he might not have received as much exposure or given the opportunity to show his athletic talents.
